I think it's clear after grinding the last 2-3 years during Go Fest that the shiny odds aren't anywhere near a community day, even with buying the ticket.
This was my First Go Fest and im really dead, its was amazing. Walked alot, we got a lot Raided a lot. But in the End best of Pokemon Go this year

@@maxiboi6277you dont need the ticket, got 4 yesterday and today got 5 in less than 2 hours of playing, one being a BG Shiny Necrozma. its a matter of luck, if youre not getting it, someone else is

sucks that it's EU only so maxing it out is gonna be very challenging
I got 56 shinies. One being Necrozma. Also did 60 raids for Necrozma
This was probably the worst go fest in the past 5 years. Not only that I only got 5 shinies, but I did 72 raids and no shiny Necrozma...WTH... I hope day 2 is better.

Nah you getting unlucky. This is one of the best, the increased catch candy, increasee stardust, guaranteed catching with beast balls for the raids, increased xl candy from raids.

I got shiny xurkittree and hundo weather boosted Necrozma both on go fest 2024
first time playing pokemon go since it was released first raid for necrozma was a shundo and then later one got a shundo xurkitree Edit: Overall great first experience
I managed to get an “almost” Shundo Necrozma with the special ultra beast wormhole background, and I got my first dragonite, garchomp, and I’m about to get my first Solgaleo or Lunala!
One of my first Necrozma of day 1 was a Hundo with the special background. Objectively the best I could have asked for, but I reeeeeally wanted a good shiny. Hope that happens tomorrow

The ticket gives a great shiny boost as I got 9 shinies on day one and one of the shinies that I got was a xurkitree on the first raid I did

i got 42 shinies from go fest global, including shiny jangmo o from wild, dusk lycanroc, and 2 shiny corsola i got so lucky

The best part of this event is we can have elite fast and charge tm after completion of field research. I teach my Charizard wing attack and blast burn immediately right after it (I got Shiny Charmander but not good IVs though)
Caught 3 shiny necro in my first 10 raids and about 15-20 other shinies
5 shiny necrozma in total 1 98%shiny and lucky and 2 normal 98% from raids
I joined you day one for the raids, caught a hundo Necrozma. Got a few shiny Pokemon I’ve been looking for a long time but there’s still some that didn’t mane to encounter. It was fun but but overwhelming at the same time honestly.

I'll take the hundo every day even if it means a month with no chance at shinies. I got a really decent one but I would rather get the hundo since there's no need to use a MB.

Two days, 56 necrozma raids total, and only one shiny necrozma at the very end. Far from stellar raiding luck, but overall decent experience because of boosted wild shiny rates from ticket. Literally ran out of normal and free passes and had to resort to buying tons of remote passes for the last hour.😭
No shiny scarf, no shiny corsola, no shiny jangmo-o, but 27 total shinys caught, overall still good for my first day of go fest, WE GO AGAIN TODAY!
I did 79 necrozma raids xD ....3 shiny, best was a 94%. But I gained like 5 mil exp :)

Can you put a Spotlight on the Issue that you could evolve some pretty usefull Pokemon while Go fest to get the Legacy Moves but Niantic just Never Communicated it? Im really mad and a lot of People still have no Idea that it was a Thing. A this Point its not really an Accident rather than Sabotage
For what i know, the Pokemon are Charizard, Garchomp, Dragonite, Serperior, Swampert, Hydragon and Haxorus, so pretty Meta Stuff and a big Feature

Got a 98% necrozma, very happy. Gonna fuse it with my lunala I got from the research we had a while back. Prepped 20 raid passes for the fusion raids in the past 2 months so far haven't spent any money. Down to 14 plus the free one for tomorrow.
After go fest, I got no shinies. I raid 7 Necrozma and also got no shinies. I would like to say that I have used 8 incense and play like all day and all I got are just some ultra beast.
People really didn’t buy the ticket and then have the nerve to complain that they didn’t catch any shinies 😂 13 shinys and 2 event hundos (pikachu and event unbreon)

just finished day 2. really a disappointing go fest day 2. the fushion energy given for each necrosma is so little you have to do at least 9 raids for EACH necrosma type, to achieve the 1k energy needed to do a fushion. gave up after 12 raids cos too tired to continue.

I got shiny emolga, 2 shiny necrozma (one is fused with solgaleo) and shiny gible.
I did over 100 Raids of Necrozma and my best is 15/13/14 or 13/15/15 so sad

Guys, i have a question. I chose the wrong mission and ended up with two Solgaleos. Can I trade one of them with my friend for Lunala and then become Dawn Wing?
I do 16 raid today but still no shiny but glad i manage to collect 1000 each for the fusion with just 16 raid and i have no more raid pass😂. I have 2 necrozma with iv 15/14/15. Very perfect i can fuse both of them. Just wait till night to evolve my cosmoem to lunala for the fusion

Because it is listed in the legendary Pokemon collection in Pokemon go ..
But Niantic gave us beast balls to catch necrozma too besides the ultra beasts..

Done with Go Fest and went all out for the event, got Hundo xurkitree, buzzwole, necrozma, crown pikachu. Got three shiny necrozmas, one with a background card, 30+ different background pokemon. 100 shinies over both days getting everything I wanted, just from walking around for the whole 16 hours
Guys do we still get the special moves if we fuse them after go fest

It’s disgusting how much money you have to spend to get a 50 max legendary. First time going for it and it’s literally gambling on getting a good Pokemon especially if you’re going for a good shiny one. And the fact you’re gonna have to do close to 50 raids for one 50 max legendary to get enough XL candy is ridiculous. This is just me, clearly I don’t see people complaining so it’s a me problem but I can’t help but yap about it. Money grab was insane having like 8 legendaries at the same time 🤷♂️
