great video, we still occasionally drop into titanfall 2 multiplayer ever since the servers got fixed from that nightmare that happened, but the campaign - especially after what we got story was from Titanfall's first game - is one of the most underrated campaigns ever
Just replayed the story and it's always my go-to casual fps nowadays for PVP since everyone's trying to Play to win but not cheating or stacking against the lobbies
Pro tip from a titanfall vet for you apex players who wanna try tf2 multiplayer ⚠️GET INTO THE HABIT OF HIPFIRE!!! ⚠️You should never ads with shotguns, smgs, l-star, and grenedier weapons. You can ads with all rifles, devotion, but the g2 hemlock and kraber are a mix. You need to get into the habit of not adsing for those weapons, or try with all weapons. Hope this helps 👌
@@brackishbard9629 G2 and hemlok have some of the worst hipfires in the game, you could've said the R2/101 and flatline instead cuz those actually have decent hipfire, and hipfiring kraber is just crutching luck
That and learning to keep constantly moving/sliding is huge. Figuring out gravity star boosts, grappling, stimming for high speed goes a long way in getting better at the game
As a small (tiny) Titanfall 2 Creator, who switched from Apex Legends, I love Titanfall 2 for two main reasons. The campaign and the community. Plus, It's a fun game to play for another two reasons: The pilot movement and the Titan fights. I hope that more (friendly and kind) people can play with us. Good Luck and Have Fun Pilots!
Titanfall 2 is a game that actually made me cry at the ending of the campaign, it has a great multiplayer, fun mechanics and amazing story, I can go on and on why titanfall 2 is a masterpiece of a game, if apex ever decides to die, they should go back and work on titanfall 3

I don't think Titanfall 2 is dead. I think it's coming back. I think it's in its Renaissance when it comes to stuff. I don't think it'll ever be as big as Apex because respawn won't let it get that big. But yeah, I've stopped playing Apex. It's not as fun as it used to be. There's so many cheaters and nothing meaningful is added to the game
Apex's storyline so inconsistent tho, they keep promising to release another Titanfall game but then cancel it, but they were gearing apex's event and story for those new games so it just got dry and repetitive because they then wouldn't have the story for apex, like how blisk just goes MIA for no reason

New viewer here really enjoyed a few of your videos so far would love to see loads more Loba main here all the way from Season 5 although I did enjoy Apex I am no longer a player due to the monetization focus.. I was a Season 0 Player and loved it all the way up until Season 19, Titanfall 2 is very strong considering they received a fair few updates upon release the campaign was just nothing alike, The only problem with Titanfall 2 is the support it stopped receiving there were many planned future updates that just got scrapped for nearly no reason some were completely finished also I think support stopped after a year or 2 and it took a major hit... Things like Crossplay were talked about but never implemented and that's possible one of the biggest reasons it didn't quite fly off also I think it released around the same time as BattleField 1 at the time and that drastically took away alot of potential player base, However in saying all of that it still has a very strong community keeping it alive and Crossplay could be a really healthy thing to keep the game going.. It's just a major shame that Respawn are under EA so they don't have as much freedom as they used to in the game making space. Real shame Rip Star Wars Mandalorian 😢
Medium to large creators making content on Titanfall will cause the numbers to spike. It's an honest breath of fresh air, because us TF2 pros will get to enjoy a little break from a challenge all the time, of course this leads to the new players leaving because the skill ceiling is too high. Or they have too many bad run-ins with a spitfire. P.S. spitfire mains are scum, you can't even get angry with me or say I'm wrong. It's genuinely considered by the whole community that if you use spitfire, even car, everyone in the lobby hates you
I’m a PS5 dweller. Heaps of great content comes from that though, kinda splits up the player base though. Cross play would be great. Although I personally think pc movement gods would walk all over console / controller players

I just played tf2 the other day, it was AMAZING. After playing apex, its just so good, and different. The characters the plot and the movement. Especially the characters, that was honestly what made it such a good game, they just felt so real.

I've been really enjoying watching a few people play through Halo for the first time, so if you haven't played those games before I'd love to see something like that from you in the future. Technical G50 Pilot here (for people dont know: 1 G level = 50 normal levels, so 50 G level = 2500 normal level if my math is correct 😳). Its still a Blast with my Warcrime Titan (if you know you know, he is my Papa and he is cooking 😊) combined with the Cold War Grenadier launcher 😅
The only game I wanted an xbox for was titanfall 1, and hearing 2 was coming to ps4 had me buying on day one, only to be disappointed that they released it in such a crowded release for shooters. Such an amazing game that I will always recommend to others. As much as I love apex, I really hope they come back to titanfall 3 at some point 😞
Titanfall 2 is still alive and well. I play it frequently. Perhaps not EVERY day but most days. A Titanfall 3 would likely finally kill off Titanfall 2. I think campaigns centering on your characters career with various mercenary companies fighting for various factions for various reasons with a choose your own adventure style multiplayer campaign would be a best bet. A galaxy spanning war that never ends. Explorable worlds and stations where peace exists. Maybe the ability to start your own Mercenary company earning prestige, credits and power in your own right as "clans". People want something good but also immersive. With AI how it is nowadays, writing and programming could be more fluid for constantly evolving and changing game updates. Just my 2 cents. Or multi billion dollar industry changing ideas.
In my opinion, it’s too late for Titanfall 2, and we need to give up. The people who made Titanfall 2 have left. So even if they make another one who knows how it’ll turn out. I mean for starters, imagine they add micro transactions for weapons skins, or add even more scummy business practices. And then proceed to make a game that would be half of what TF2 is.
honestly this is a very good point. TF2 was made a long time ago in a different era of gaming. Who knows what a TF3 would look like in terms of monetization.

I been wanting titanfall 3 again. I was a titanfall 1 360 fan. I was disappinted playing apex legends and was like "look how they massacred my boy." I really miss titanfall and I absolutely hate the battle royale genre. You run around for 12 minutes not encountering anyone and randomly sniped or ganged on. Not my cup of tea.
Seems made it in the video 😂 I was Tribal_Island_87. I still think apex is a good game but feel like EA is trying to replace all the Titanfall lore and story with apex. They’ve already changed a lot of the story to fit some of the apex characters and also still kind of mad about the cliff hanger. Fun playing with you tho.

Wallrunning is why tf2 died tho, the shooters at that time were bad. Everybody latched on to apex because it was easier, apex is literally tf2 without adv. Movement snd titans.
I feel like one of the big things that makes tf2 hard to get into is that there's so few people playing it. I tried the multiplayer and it's so hard because most of the people playing have been for a while and are just getting better and better.

honestly maybe? I was doing the titanfall one and at first I wasn't sure if i was going to include the entire campaign but i ended up doing it and scripting out the entire story which was actually pretty fun! It might be something I explore on the future but I want to continue on my planned projects for now. If those projects are successful, I'll start exploring single player stuff

People don't give Apex the respect it deserves. It was never trying to be Titanfall 3, it was supposed to be a game in its own right, and it was incredibly innovative in that space as well. For example, the map design alone was genius, they took inspiration from mmorpg rooms to allow players to pick engagements or leave them alone, they removed the plague of empty space from battle royale maps up to this point, putting their experience to good use by designing POIs as if they were arena shooter maps in their own right. The reason they removed wall running was because it was incredibly hard to stick together and would ruin the cohesiveness of the game's design. And it worked; if you've ever played ranked, one of the most tense and exciting parts is that you need to seriously consider the tradeoffs and risks when rotating. Besides, (and this is a personal opinion, so you might disagree) I think they more than made up for it with how snappy and juicy the movement of apex feels - from sliding to climbing to even the new grapple. I haven't played it for a while thanks to most of the original developers leaving to start smaller companies, resulting in today's godawful writing, but I'll never accept people saying that the early apex was an inferior game.
First of all, Titanfall 3 was cancelled because of Apex, even respawn said so, and this Is mostly the reason why Titanfall players hate It. Second of all, the "snappy" movement was fun only the first few seasons and after that they nerfed the shit out of It, removing slidehopping and tap strafing entirelly. Even if at first the movement felt great, i honestly think it was just a very numbed out version of titanfall's. (Slides were slower, harder to chain together, and even tough the grapple was the same from Titanfall, so a master piece, respawn managed to make it worse by giving it a fuck ton of cooldown) Also some more recent movement techs on apex are almost impossible on controller without changing your input configuration or learning to aim with maxed out sens (for example wall hopping needing an almost instant 180° turn), when on titanfall the only major PC restricted tech is tap strafing (which Is technically still doable on controller, but its very inconsistent and hard to pull off)
@@justachicken7392 It was the team's own decision to pursue something new, they'd already made two Titanfall games, and after making something as good as TF|2, they wanted to go for something entirely different and unique; their hearts and passion wouldn't have been in a straight up sequel. Titanfall 3 wouldn't have just been "More TF2" - Respawn has been so consistent because they follow the fun and don't have any qualms about reinventing the way things are done. Even though it might seem weird from the future perspective of an oversaturated market, at the time it was being developed, Battle Royales were indeed an exciting premise that many developers and designers were raring have a go at in their own way, myself included, so being in the position to do that was something they must have been more than happy to pursue. Also, I wasn't talking about movement tech, just the base movement. It has great gamefeel. I'm not the only one who's commented on how floaty Titanfall 2 is, and how slack the grapple hook feels. Not that it didn't work with the rest of the movement in that game, but Apex clearly needed some gamefeel tweaks to work in it's format, and from the climbing to the sliding to the diving to the camera effects as you fly through the air at a high velocity, it's one of the best & most cohesive feeling games I've played. Which highlights one of the biggest issues with the take "Apex is bad because it could have been Titanfall 3": they're different games. Apex excels in the Battle Royale genre the same way Titanfall 2 excels in the Arena Shooter genre, and both are as revolutionary as they are fun in their own ways. Comparing them like-for-like is missing the point, because what works towards one would work against the other. But yeah, if you're looking for TF3, Wildlight Games has announced they are working on a project that they've "had in the works for a long time", so apart from a new IP it will probably have similar gameplay to the WIP they were talking about. Just don't expect it to change nothing from the last installment.
The reason we dont like apex is cause it's soo slow; like I am on the back of a tutorise. I tried when it came but couldn't play. So, switch back to TF2 for real run and actual movement.
@@vyom141184 that's the whole reason the decision to make apex was a good one though - no need to make another TF2 when TF2 is an amazing TF2 as it is. Apex is fun because it's tense, strategic and requires coordination under pressure. Titanfall 2 is fun because it's fast-paced, flowy, skillful and reactive. Adding fast-paced movement to apex would remove all the thought that goes into rotating and engaging in fights, and with how naturally punishing dying is in BRs, it would feel awful if you could just run circles around other players in the lobby on your own.
Titanfall 2 didn't die. It's just old lol. I had no issues finding games when it first came out. Issue was that they had other games to compete with which Battlefield 1 was one of them and was amazing. and Call of Duty. Well no matter how bad call of duty is they will still have a big audience but yeah, I just think Battlefield 1 was amazing.
The sad part is both bf1 and iw were relative flops. Ppl didn't get titanfall 2 because they were tired of getting shat on in advanced warfare, another movement shooter rejected by normies. Look at fps today, multiple shades of boots on the ground twitch reaction shooters.

how are you getting servers? my multiplayer has been broken since forever, ive been playing northstar client this whole time and what do you mean 7000 players? theres really only been around 29 people at a time on (atleast on northstar client)

In Titanfall 1 we had the smart pistol as a weapon all the time, not only as a perk like in the 2.

I been wanting titanfall 3 again. I was a titanfall 1 360 fan.
I was disappinted playing apex legends and was like "look how they massacred my boy." I really miss titanfall and I absolutely hate the battle royale genre. You run around for 12 minutes not encountering anyone and randomly sniped or ganged on. Not my cup of tea.

Seems made it in the video 😂 I was Tribal_Island_87. I still think apex is a good game but feel like EA is trying to replace all the Titanfall lore and story with apex. They’ve already changed a lot of the story to fit some of the apex characters and also still kind of mad about the cliff hanger. Fun playing with you tho.

Wallrunning is why tf2 died tho, the shooters at that time were bad.
Everybody latched on to apex because it was easier, apex is literally tf2 without adv. Movement snd titans.
I feel like one of the big things that makes tf2 hard to get into is that there's so few people playing it. I tried the multiplayer and it's so hard because most of the people playing have been for a while and are just getting better and better.
How do you expect to get better if you don't vs people better then you?
@@TheGypsyTurtleYou're right, but as a noob you'll end up getting placed against people WAY better then you. It's pretty hard to improve when each game you continuously get killed by people who have been played for a lot longer then you and know everything about the game.

It's not dead. Though matchmaking can take a while on Singapore servers. Things are going well since the ddoser saga ended. Remember, the 6-4 is a family, and we'll kick your arse!

honestly maybe? I was doing the titanfall one and at first I wasn't sure if i was going to include the entire campaign but i ended up doing it and scripting out the entire story which was actually pretty fun! It might be something I explore on the future but I want to continue on my planned projects for now. If those projects are successful, I'll start exploring single player stuff

People don't give Apex the respect it deserves. It was never trying to be Titanfall 3, it was supposed to be a game in its own right, and it was incredibly innovative in that space as well.
For example, the map design alone was genius, they took inspiration from mmorpg rooms to allow players to pick engagements or leave them alone, they removed the plague of empty space from battle royale maps up to this point, putting their experience to good use by designing POIs as if they were arena shooter maps in their own right.
The reason they removed wall running was because it was incredibly hard to stick together and would ruin the cohesiveness of the game's design. And it worked; if you've ever played ranked, one of the most tense and exciting parts is that you need to seriously consider the tradeoffs and risks when rotating.
Besides, (and this is a personal opinion, so you might disagree) I think they more than made up for it with how snappy and juicy the movement of apex feels - from sliding to climbing to even the new grapple.
I haven't played it for a while thanks to most of the original developers leaving to start smaller companies, resulting in today's godawful writing, but I'll never accept people saying that the early apex was an inferior game.
First of all, Titanfall 3 was cancelled because of Apex, even respawn said so, and this Is mostly the reason why Titanfall players hate It.
Second of all, the "snappy" movement was fun only the first few seasons and after that they nerfed the shit out of It, removing slidehopping and tap strafing entirelly. Even if at first the movement felt great, i honestly think it was just a very numbed out version of titanfall's. (Slides were slower, harder to chain together, and even tough the grapple was the same from Titanfall, so a master piece, respawn managed to make it worse by giving it a fuck ton of cooldown)
Also some more recent movement techs on apex are almost impossible on controller without changing your input configuration or learning to aim with maxed out sens (for example wall hopping needing an almost instant 180° turn), when on titanfall the only major PC restricted tech is tap strafing (which Is technically still doable on controller, but its very inconsistent and hard to pull off)
@@justachicken7392 It was the team's own decision to pursue something new, they'd already made two Titanfall games, and after making something as good as TF|2, they wanted to go for something entirely different and unique; their hearts and passion wouldn't have been in a straight up sequel. Titanfall 3 wouldn't have just been "More TF2" - Respawn has been so consistent because they follow the fun and don't have any qualms about reinventing the way things are done.
Even though it might seem weird from the future perspective of an oversaturated market, at the time it was being developed, Battle Royales were indeed an exciting premise that many developers and designers were raring have a go at in their own way, myself included, so being in the position to do that was something they must have been more than happy to pursue.
Also, I wasn't talking about movement tech, just the base movement. It has great gamefeel. I'm not the only one who's commented on how floaty Titanfall 2 is, and how slack the grapple hook feels. Not that it didn't work with the rest of the movement in that game, but Apex clearly needed some gamefeel tweaks to work in it's format, and from the climbing to the sliding to the diving to the camera effects as you fly through the air at a high velocity, it's one of the best & most cohesive feeling games I've played.
Which highlights one of the biggest issues with the take "Apex is bad because it could have been Titanfall 3": they're different games. Apex excels in the Battle Royale genre the same way Titanfall 2 excels in the Arena Shooter genre, and both are as revolutionary as they are fun in their own ways. Comparing them like-for-like is missing the point, because what works towards one would work against the other.
But yeah, if you're looking for TF3, Wildlight Games has announced they are working on a project that they've "had in the works for a long time", so apart from a new IP it will probably have similar gameplay to the WIP they were talking about. Just don't expect it to change nothing from the last installment.
The reason we dont like apex is cause it's soo slow; like I am on the back of a tutorise. I tried when it came but couldn't play. So, switch back to TF2 for real run and actual movement.

Apex is fun because it's tense, strategic and requires coordination under pressure. Titanfall 2 is fun because it's fast-paced, flowy, skillful and reactive.
Adding fast-paced movement to apex would remove all the thought that goes into rotating and engaging in fights, and with how naturally punishing dying is in BRs, it would feel awful if you could just run circles around other players in the lobby on your own.

Titanfall 2 didn't die. It's just old lol. I had no issues finding games when it first came out. Issue was that they had other games to compete with which Battlefield 1 was one of them and was amazing. and Call of Duty. Well no matter how bad call of duty is they will still have a big audience but yeah, I just think Battlefield 1 was amazing.
The sad part is both bf1 and iw were relative flops.
Ppl didn't get titanfall 2 because they were tired of getting shat on in advanced warfare, another movement shooter rejected by normies.
