This BMX video is probably the best ever produced. It’s clean, informative without a bunch a talking, fantastic music on this video as well as the street tricks video, and the tricks are done to perfection.
THANK YOU FOR CREATING THESE VIDEOS @CYCLENT
Awesome talent! I'm 47 and just got a new GT Pro Performer. Hopefully I can learn some of these tricks!
Hey I'm actually looking for one. Where did you buy yours? I'm 47 too lol
I’ll m 36 and just started back up! How are you doing!?
@@dividedregions7351 Being 6'2", it felt small riding a 20.75" frame. The geometry felt strange as it's different from the 80's freestyle bikes. I added 9.9" GT Conway SMF bars and a top load stem on my 2021 Pro Performer and it feels good now. I haven't had time to ride in a couple of months and need to get out more. Tailwhip, fakie, 180/360, fork glide is all I can really do. Working on the learning the manual, peg wheelie and backwards steam roller. Flatland is hard, but great excercise. The basic balance tricks are the foundations for the more advanced ones.

I think the BIGGEST issue with 99% of beginning flatland is BALANCE.. shit looks easy when you been doing it since birth and learned balance since 5yrs old.. to us older 6ft+ 180lb+ guys just starting out, balance is HARD.
The fun is in the challenge! No matter how good you get, the next tricks or lines will be just as hard as the first.
Woooow guys ! This video is awesome and so powerful for the Flatland scene. For sure it will help a lot of beginners and more 🔥 Congratulations for the good job
This video really means a lot for me to know about some of trick's name that I didn't know. Thank you so much, and greets from indonesia flatland riders 🙏
so surprised to see many old school tricks here 👏👏👏👏 very cool
For me it's like the modern version of the freestyle 101 video. This is a nice refresher! Good job!
Reminded me of old BMX plus! how to video with Aparajo and Itson, and McCoy at about 15 yrs old ;) he's 52 now for reference.
Thank you! Nice job everyone!
This is amazing thanks for taking the time to do this!
What a wonderful clip! Thank U guys! I love it!
Great video. Thank you guys.
Really helpful! Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!!
Great video you all are great riders thanks for the video.

Awesome vid you'll are very talented makes me want to get back on a bike.
Do it! I just did and I'm 41.
Hi from Moscow!
Very nice job. But I don't know about "for beginners", lol. Some of the tricks yeah, but then....
Wow.....good for learning but now I'm already in 40+......83kg also, but still remember all skill.

I'm wondering what kind of hubs these guys are using, looks like they could somehow roll backward without reverse peddling, while still being able to pedal normally. Very cool video, displaying a massive amount of talent and skill, and I'm excited to finally get my hands on a BMX.
They're using freecoasters
@@plebian2637 Thanks!

for beginners my shiny metal arse hahaha
The red one what bike he use?
so big difference watching this video. old school tricks is not like that, they look very awkward
Old school tricks had brakes most of the time, so it was hard to smoothly link tricks so fluidly. Towards the mid 90s rolling and spinning made longer links and smooth transitions. Watch Dorkin' in York videos 1-10 and watch the progression of the sport through those who innovated almost all the tricks being done now while spinning and linked together.
@@ropearoni4 I already watched dorkin’ in york that’s the original 80’s bmx tricks. how i miss those days
How could there be so many tricks, and where did all the names come from?
Riders who created them, name them. Freestyle flatland had been around since 83, plenty of time to innovate new tricks year to year. There are many more not even shown, especially pogo trick variations.. every month that freestyin' magazine had an issue it wood have 1-2 new truck how-to's in it; this was 85-92 or so when it was just beginning.
@@ropearoni4 This is true! I started riding back in the 90s and so many moves(and variations) have been created I can't remember the names of all of them. Plus some moves have multiple names or renamed over the years.

Can't tell always when the break is engaged. I know some tricks
Yeah you right man : beginners should definitely use brakes alot of these guys don't have brakes on their bikes but they're pro's but yeah good point
Some tricks involve front breaks but sometimes I can't tell by the trick if they are
@@johnhayes6414 not many tricks are done with brakes anymore. The front pinky squeaks are shown here with using brakes and later not. Decade is done with brakes unless you do a rolling decade or jump off the back tire. Though this video is great, it does not show even all the basic tricks for beginners, nor does it tell you what to do. Penar and Mattias have how to's that explain what to do, if you want more details.
Just remember to throw away your hand brakes.
Where can I find a bike like that? With 2 brakes and freecoaster
Flatland fuel .com has a collection of full bikes, but most are pieced together by the rider starting with a frame and fork.
Colony bmx do a complete flatland bike, which is quite widely available from most bmx shops!
Balance and stabilti control. romis86
What brand bike is the guy riding?
Only flat frames I know of that have that style are the (flamon core) or ( sickchild metropolitan) ... precision products had a frame of that style with tube all the way from the ss that acted as a platform. its definitely not the precision products platform frame, I'm just saying they have a similar frame. It could also be custom, but I'm going to say one of the first 2 mentioned
Just to clarify that I am talking about the black frame white bars white seat chrome wheels
Great tricks. Music is ass.
Video is too long. Why show a trick three times? Otherwise a good video.
