In Nigeria, mostly instruments are used to communicate not just make beats, part of why the music is kind of next level. At some point on this song it sounds like the sax is saying something. In yoruba culture theres a drum called talking drum,when properly played the sound it produces kinda form yoruba sentences that have meaning. The "Bata" also.
Yoruba is a melodious language. What do you expect when the "Ami"(those dashes you see on letters in a yoruba word) are literally musical chords.

Damian Marley brought life to this track. This is undoubtedly my best track on the "made in Lagos" album. Wiz is growing and his music is growing with him. He has carved out a class of music for himself (afro-fusion). I heard "sounds from the other side" a few years back and I felt he would find it difficult to top that album but here he outdid even his past works. Naija to the world.
