    Such an interesting window in a time long gone by. I didn't grew up in Britain, so it's interesting to see which brands were also known in my country like Persil and Timotei and it's mindboggling that Snickers used to be Marathon :O

    Wow, Terry's Harlequins. They're a blast from the past! It suddenly made me remember my uncle who used to work for Terry's. I remember as a kid the family would get loads of boxes of them, Pyramints, Neapolitans, etc... All the Terry's chocolates you can't get any more for Christmas and Easter!

    Bill Treacher in the beer advert, just after Eastenders began. This advert must have been filmed or been running well before Eastenders started though

    That tennis advert is possibly the most tenuous connection to an advert based on the sketch. Very odd way to sell some cheapo crisps lol
