Its a very fun song on bass but imo she overplaying
HOLY CRAP DOES THAT BASSIST HAVE TALENT! She not only surpasses the original G'n'R bassist, she makes the song her own. Although the hallmark notes are retained, the signature notes are her own and not just a mere flourish of the original. She is on the save level as the late John Entwhistle of The Who.
This is by no means as dismissing the rest of the band, but the bassist really stood out.
I saw this cover first on the night before my wedding 3 years back and couldn't comment.Came back again just to see this red head on bass..Darling those additions they are just beautiful 😍😍

bassgeezer Ruining a bass line that was missing! Seriously bassgeezer if you are a bass player and did not dig that you are not a bass player. So they mixed it up, made it there own by making the bass pop. You must feel less of a bass player after watching it.
Joe Kustek What do you mean 'missing'? Duff's bass line is great, and fitted perfectly. It was what a bass line should be, the rails on which the rest of the song ran... this isn't. This band also covered a couple of Chili Pepper songs... and did them very well... the bass was right on it.

To all those that criticise....you are entitled to your opinion I agree....BUT.....As a semi-pro drummer myself in a band....Playing an instrument to this level doesn't come overnight, It takes LOADS of practice......They are covering this song THIER way, they are not wanting to replicate ANYONE'S solo's or riffs....it is THIER feel to the track, they are really good.....great punchy female vocals, solid no frills drumming......pretty tidy guitar playing....and in MY mind the bass player DOESN'T overplay it ....some lovely licks and slaps of that bass....all in all ....pretty damn good....please think before you judge too harshly....especially if you cannot play an instrument yourself......I have said MY bit....WELL DONE GIRLS....Nice one
Pejay Evans I completely agree. Improvisation is the key. I am a keyboardist and a guitarist . Don’t see my videos as they are horrible and I made those when I was a beginner. My friend replicated river flows in you on keyboard. I improvised it as I made it with arpeggios of 2 octave. And increased a bit of speed
