Evo Nxt for the win. I never seen the Evo Nxt until a guy bought the ball to a game we had and we switched from the evolution to his ball. I literally went off 8 for 8 shots 😂 4 3s and 4 midrange
Just got the Evolution at my sporting store I bounced both balls to see which felt better to dribble with and to me they almost felt exactly the same grip wise but the Evo Nxt kinda just felt like a cheaper feeling ball and the grip on the Evolution just felt more controlable and solid. Can’t wait to use this tho later today on the full court runs at my rec center 🔥💪🏽.
The Evo NXT is one of my favorite indoor basketballs. I be going to the gym and play with it too. Sometimes i be playing with the evolution i don’t be making a lot of threes cause it be losing my shooting ability but with the Evo NXT i be hitting a whole lot of shots with that ball more than the evolution. I’m planning on buying myself the Evo NXT for my birthday this year in May. I tried to buy myself one last year at Dick’s sporting goods but they didn’t had any left. I even tried to find it at Dunham’s Sports when i went Christmas shopping for myself but they didn’t have it either but when my birthday is coming up this year I’m buying this ball.
Yes buy it online, Wilson online store or Amazon. Hopefully you're able to get it! Practice your jumper so when you do get it you hitting those shots 🔥🔥 Keep working hard Broskis and it will pay off
I think I like the EVO NXT a little better, but I went with the Evolution since more people are playing with it at the gyms and I’d like to get used to it. Going from shooting a lighter ball, to a heavier one is not good for a shooter.
I agree with this, it's very important to get familiar with these two basketballs! It's more of a feeling, similar feel but different. I do the same with basketball courts. I try to practice on the courts I'm going to play against good competition. Does help! Great feedback Brother!
About 3 to 5 days of playing with it, if you play with it 2 to 4 hours each time. Return it if the sticky feeling doesn't go away. I bought a ball once and it was very sticky. Even getting caught in the net after every shot. After two weeks of play, it looked terrible because everything stuck to it. Eventually, the small debris fell off it but I just didn't like the feeling of it at all at that point. If it doesn't go away, it's a defect, quality control issue. I say record a video of it brand new, how it feels, then play with it and if it bothers you, you can tell the store or if you bought it online it was like that when you first got it and have proof. That way, they don't say you did something to it. It should go away, but just take that video to have yourself covered. Keep your receipt, too. Hope this helps! 👍👍
nxt is so light that the shots are harder than avg. Im not a shooter, i do post and etc so the ball was a lot harder to play with. Shooting is nicer than evolution a lot of ppl say the next evo is trash whenever i take it out lol
Brooo this is a nice insight, it didn't even occur to me that stronger players and low post players have a completely different experience with a lighter ball because they are so much closer to the basket, very good info you sharing with everyone, A+ info
@user-hj8ug6dt8t OG evolution probably made from thicker leather, makes sense since older products many times, not all the time, are more durable and have better quality materials. I like these comparisons. Good quality leather ages well, that's why some newer leather products look terrible after wear and tear
@fattirbrata9752 For shooters the Nxt Evo because most people report it is lighter and softer to catch. For players who like to drive or centers the evolution is preferred, reported by players because a ball with more weight is better up close, easier to shoot. Plus the grip of it is more firm so better for driving. Hope this helps 👍
I’ve been saying this for years. I love the Evo, don’t get me wrong. But the Evo has always felt too heavy and it’s unusable once sweat touches it. It’s terrible for shooters after getting wet or for ones with smaller hands.
@@jpalacesneakers it really is a preference thing but I still got the OG evolution over the NXT. I’ve never seen the NXT win over the OG when it comes to picking what ball is gonna be the game ball.
I felt that too especially if you're playing with or against someone who sweats a ton and even takes off their shirt lol 💀💀💀 that's why I feel they added that micro grip to compensate
I personally think NXT is trash because since the weight is too light, I cannot shoot properly and I airball a lot more. But the Evolution has the perfect weight, grip, and feel. Yes, the NXT has a nice feel too but I personally think Evolution is better in general.
Yoo I feel you 100 percent, after lifting weights they needed one and I didn't want to play but I was like ok I'll hop on, they were using the NXT ball and I the hit ceiling 3 times at 24 hours gym 🤣😂
You ain’t a real baller if you can’t adjust to the ball. If you’re airballing or hitting the ceiling just because the weight is literally less than a 10 gram difference, it’s all in your head. Seriously
@@NotLebronYT I just got the NCAA NXT and weighed it. It’s literally a 4 gram difference. It’s 4 grams lighter than my Evo. Blaming the ball is crazy 😂 UPDATE: The NXT is the worst ball I’ve ever used. Idk how they’re charging over $100 bucks for it. The quality is terrible. I put my initials on it. Used alcohol and the orange ball color came right off. The evolution never did that. They’re using cheap materials. The ball felt out of balance.
I bought the evolution just to shot because I don't Play in team, people don't believe me its $80 so they prefer to buy cheaper indoor balls.. ill keep the one I have till it gets worn out

Niceee, I agree the Evo Nxt feels more synthetic (a cloth-like feel to it) and the Evolution has a more leather skin feel, enjoy it Bro!!

How long to break in evolution? Just got one and it’s super sticky. Not very soft

My nxt weighs 594g.
The OG Evolution I had before weighed 596g.
I dont get all that lightweight discussion.

The Evolution is a very slick ball. NXT ive noticed doesnt get slick and the Evolution is way too heavy
It really is all preference, best to switch the ball before tip-off

Wilson evolution is the best ball I ever hooped with
That ball is still a legend on the court, so solid, I wouldn't change anything about it!
If you can’t shoot with the evolution or think it’s too heavy hit the weight room 🐱
The scrawny arms out there lol. Shooters shot, snipers out there, I feel good with both.

Its the other way around for me lol every Evolution i use gets slick. NXT absorbs moisture. I have both
The EVO NXT feels like a balloon. I do not care for it at all.
That's a good description, does have a different feel to it. The evolution is a classic, I feel more people like the evolution from what I have seen.
