Honestly, I really don't understand why the bike industry has limited the travel to 200mm on so many DH rigs.
For racing any more would be inefficient and not as fast, for free ride you can’t do the tricks you want. It doesn’t make sense to have any more when you don’t need more. Plus you have less control
That Karpiel Arma... looks SICK! The shock hosing, the 3 inch 24 tires (really puts the super monster into perspective!), the rear suspension with all its bearings and pivots, it just looks like something a sci-fi free rider would drop a 20 footer on!

A Karpiel Apocalypse with a Risse Bigfoot 12 inch travel inverted fork... Still to this day my dream bike. With the Azonic loveseat seat and some mavic deemax wheels to top it off 👌🏼
NO. WAY. Kyle Warner with the big guns! I'm grinning from ear to ear over here! Retro madness FTW! I rode the Shore back in the early 90s before having a family took me completely out of the MTB world. But hey, I'm back in it again with a modern enduro rig - and thus I completely missed the era these bikes were built in. Seeing them back in this video is just wild - it's like a part of history that I missed! And so stoked to see RMR getting involved with your fork. Gonna get my next service done with those guys.
it might be controversial but maybe try a progressive spring on the rear, might get the job done
there isn't any available in the 3.5" stroke length

Fact its hard enough to find a 8.75 shock with 2.75 stroke let alone one that long lol

Thank you Jordan for the cool 300mm project. Please try to improve this bike again next season, we really want to see large 246mm brake rotors on it, the view will be super, and I also really want to see how the Super Monster will show itself on a modern dh bike, how it will be controlled with a large base and a small steering angle.

Next step maybe get a broke A-line and send it to some metal shop to get the front and rear triangle streched close to modern race DH or standard moto geometry.

I remember seeing the Josh's Karpiel for the first time as a kid while watching New World Disorder 2 when he hit the Jah Drop and ever since then I have been intrigued with them
