What is more effective to use for the cleaning of the headlamps?

Get a 600grit, 1500grit, 2500grit wet and dry sandpapers. Use each of them to rub the headlights so while using the sandpaper to rub the headlights pour water the same time. Get compound polish to apply on the headlights after
