    Lol even the final brake run has that funky S-bend. Very realistic!

    The shaping is very well done! It's really looking like The Gravity Group shaping!

    Oh my God, yes! Please send this to the Gravity Group because I would ride that all day if it was real!

    Very very nice GG woodie. Pacing is flawless. When that MCBR hit, I was like 'how is he going to get back into that pace we've been flying through this layout at?' But you got there and then some with a sweet ending.

    I really enjoyed this ride! Once it hit the mid-course I thought it was done, but dang! That second half! Great coaster!

    That's a formidable spaghetti bowl section, and you kept the pace absolutely HAULING all the way to the end. A++

    I Don't know it if was intentional. But I love how allot of the heavy hitting elements are hidden in the woods on the far end of the coaster. At first glance it looks like a simple out and back. Even when into this ride it feels like a simple out and back.....until...suprise! Those twists, turns, and over-banks come at ya out of nowhere. I'd definitely ride this if this were a real coaster.

    This is awesome! Just Like voyage! Also how long did it take for you to make this?

      I worked on it for a few minutes every now and then since July, so it’s hard to really say since I didn’t spend a lot of time working on it all at once. In comparison to some of my other projects, this one was one of the quickest overall to make. Though I can say that the layout was made in 30 minutes in FVD++

    That twister section is SO well done!! Also just curious, how do you get the boards that run along the track in between the rails? They add a lot of realism but aren't a default in NL2.

      I created them using the in-game light pattern creator!

    Nice layout, could you have used Timberliner trains on this?

    • @j-coasters
      @j-coasters  Před rokem +1

      I could use timberliners. However, I was stylizing this coaster after the early Gravity Group wooden coasters that ran PTC trains. Voyage, for example.

    how do you make the wooden style supports steel? i’m wanting to make a gravity group of my own

    • @j-coasters
      @j-coasters  Před rokem +1

      It’s complicated. You essentially have to manually select which beams you want to change to steel. However, I’ve found that setting the support color to grey makes the standard structure look close enough to steel. I did that on this one.

  • @SpeedCoasterMaster

    That shaping and pacing is flawless, but why is there a double brakerun at the end?

    • @j-coasters
      @j-coasters  Před 3 lety +2

      It's mainly a capacity thing. In the event that all 3 trains were to stack, it keeps the MCBR block zone clear so there won't be any issues with trains setting up on prior blocks before the mcbr once operations resume. And the drop out of the first brake run allows the trains to clear the brake run slightly quicker while still coming to a near stop on the break run. That and i referenced Voyage's brake run which has a similar setup.

  • @fury8953
    @fury8953 Před rokem

    question, how do i make the brake run not hit, as in it not clamping or making noise?

    • @j-coasters
      @j-coasters  Před rokem

      In the brake section settings, set the speed limit to something higher than the speed that your train is traveling at over that section. And you don’t have to fine tune it. I usually set the speed limit to 100 mph if I don’t want a brake section to engage.
      Though when the section is set to block mode, the brakes are defaulted to a closed position. The brakes will stay closed until the train enters the brake section. If it’s traveling fast enough, no matter what the speed limit is there will be a brief moment where the train taps the brakes. You’ll get a short brake effect when that happens. It’s unfortunately unavoidable.

    How did you make the middle wood sections in between the rails that runs along with the track? I have been thinking of ways to do it and this is the first coaster I've seen actually have it done and good in NL2.

    • @j-coasters
      @j-coasters  Před 2 lety

      I utilized the light pattern creator in game. But I replaced the light textures with a wood texture

      @@j-coasters Ok how do I change the texture lol?

    • @j-coasters
      @j-coasters  Před 2 lety

      @@MrCoolWipeOut007 In the light pattern creator, there are 3 (i think) squares that have the bulb textures on them. You'll see them, its hard to miss. Click on those, then it'll give you the option to replace them with any texture you'd like.
