    A few things:
    I use Mona Lisa gold leaf and the instructions say to let the glue dry instead of applying the leaf in wet glue. Next you would be real sorry if you use a blow dryer with it because the leaf is so light weight it will go everywhere. Next it is a total waste to brush it off into a trashcan. Treat it like glitter and drop all the particles into a small jar. You can use those little pieces over and over again in future projects.

    I save the leftovers in a plastic baggy. Julie, you do not mention finishing off with a sealer, which one has to do so the foil does not get damaged by oxidation. That is what brought me to your site, looking for the Mona Lisa Speedball sealer.

    Hi Julie ... I love the free-flowing art you create 🌺. Have a question about Fine-Tec. I saved and saved and purchased Coliro’s entire collection recently, all 62 colors. They are 🥰gorgeous🥰. My question is, Coliro’s website says that they do not produce Fine-Tec and that their product is always in the round format. I have some Fine-Tec (in the square format) as well and they perform the same. Would you have any inside knowledge about this? Just curious ... thanks so much.

    • @vidavis8060
      @vidavis8060 Před 4 lety +1

      Pink Flamingo Hey Pink! I don’t have any secret info about Coliro. But, I have found in working in the art industry for years that it is surprisingly small... and if they are publicly saying that they don’t produce material for FineTec, that’s probably true. Thanks for your question and thanks for watching! 👍🏻😊 Julie

    Shame on you for thinking it is ok to waste the Gold leaf like that. Not everyone can afford to just throw it away. There were some big pieces too. I would LOVE to have had your "waste" especially since you obviously don't care because you have it when you want it.

  • @diegosanchez8393

    • @vidavis8060

      DIEGO SANCHEZ Hey Diego... I understand what you are saying... for the purposes of this video it would be hard time wise to conserve a bunch. I do use a gold pen often... even in this piece... but it’s the sheen, the mirror or it that provides an interesting contrast and texture it you want it!
