Ya that was kinda funny and kinda weird at the same time. It’s like he didn’t wanna score but had to put a shot on goal. He def didn’t let that shot rip, he took a little off it. Strange
@jasonboisseau409 it was a courtesy thing. He couldn't just not shoot it, but he wasn't trying to score. There's been a lot of players complaining about people trying to score with the last shot of the game because it's embarrassing or insulting or something, and Pasta respects Crosby so he didn't want to do that to him.

Man, what a game. The first 10 minutes of the 3rd had me anxious as hell as a Bruins fan but overall I think we played an excellent game. Fast paced and a lot of control against a desperate pens team.
Feel for Syd and the rest of the team, playoff chances are so low now and I would have loved to see them make it in but happy to see Boston step up. Stoked to see the big rig Maroon fitting in with a spoked B on as well.

It seem like every Bruin vs Penguin highlights I've seen over the last couple years has had a healthy amount of Brian Rust highlights to go along with them. I'd like to see him on the Bruins
As a Bs fan I would take him in a heartbeat. Goes to the dirty areas and has an excellent scoring touch. He’s always scoring big goals. He’s a perfect compliment to Crosby
goalie handling pucks behind the net is a really bad idea 95% of the time.
Especially when you pass it to karlsson while he's daydreaming
not really. most can handle the puck well. They created the trapezoid because goalies were getting too good at passing, it was like having an extra d-man.
Mike Smith made a career out of it despite being a mediocre goalie.
Both Ullmark and Sway cost us the season last year due to them going behind the net and playing pucks like complete amateurs. It was infuriating.

Nah he's a solid pro... not spectacular but w has a good hockey IQ. The Bruins moved on from him way too soon, he was light years better than the late Jimmy Hayes.
He is worthless. Soft as cotton and does nothing well. Smith and Karlsson are the reasons we lost tonight (and Sullivan by starting a goalie running on fumes)
@@johnnythunder196 He did have an off-game Saturday - but there's not a whole lot of players who can say that they were an assistant captain of a Stanley Cup-winning NHL franchise.
His career stats are decent. Not bad.

I woulda kept Ned in net - Tristopher was clearly not the answer here. Also for how much he gets paid it's ridiculous how often Karklson feels like a liability. That being said it was a solid season - I think as much as we all wanted to see Sid in the playoffs one last time there was really no chance of Pittsburgh getting past the first round even if they did make the cut by some miracle.

I've been getting smoke for saying Karlsson was a bad choice from Dubas and here it is. Not only this game, but overall. Its ridiculous how effortless this guy been playing and during the most important games of the season, he can't do basic stuff such as skate quick enough and position himself correctly.
These peopo, karl.. sson and dubos, are two DARKEST spots on the ENTIRE history of this legendary Organization. It took them ONE season just to establish themselves as such! Them should be banned from Paints Arena for life

I still have no idea how the hell the bruins are first in their division. We were supposed to barely make the wildcard round this year because of how many players we lost this offseason. Sweeney had to moneyball the roster because we had no cap space whatsoever.

Locker room is a big part of it I think, obviously solid goaltending with arguably the best pair in the league. Montgomery's coaching has brought out the best in a lot of players that were struggling under cassidy.
Excellent stepping up by Coyle, McAvoy and Frederic.
Geekie, Heinen, JVR all bringing it, Lauko has been great.
Really I think it comes down to working as a team and the locker room itself. We really only have one star signing in Pasta and one top end defenseman in McAvoy but we're able to pull it all together as a complete unit that has solid depth.
I'd say 70-80% of the time the Bruins are able to play the game on their terms at their speed. You have so many fast paced teams like Florida, Edmonton etc play against Boston and their play is forced to slow down to Boston's pace.
How they are top in Eastern Division? Have you not watched their games? They are playing great as a team! The newbies have been a great addition and Ullmark and Swayman have been solid for the most part. Go Bruins! 🐻💛

Bro this was supposed to be a bridge year for boston because of how many players they lost this offseason. Going all in last year put them so tight against the cap that they had to fill out the roster with veterans on minimum deals. Nobody really even expected them to make the playoffs. They've already exceeded expectations, so a first round loss is kind of expected this year.

They choked last year.. okay. 2019 Did the Bruins choke in the final or did Bennington have a once in a lifetime BRICK wall of a playoff run with St. Louis? The Bruins consistently make playoff runs. They're certainly not chokers like the MapleLaughs. Since The last cup win in 2011 they lost the first round 4 times, missed the playoffs twice, lost 2 Cup finals, and lost 4 semi-finals.
