I did, too! That was the first time I saw a vlogger do this and I love it as I'm into arts and crafts so that's up my alley. And the fact you get to keep your own handmade lantern is cool...although as a traveler, that would definitely be challenging.
I've seen those basket boats and everyone says how fun they are. I saw a couple (The Passport Couple, I think) got the cutest little old lady to row them and she totally made me laugh at how adorable she was (similar to the adorable lady from "Flora and Note" when they did Ninh Binh/Tam Coc). I really enjoyed the lantern making, though. If you ever go there again, check out "Jack Tran Tours" as that looked really cool from MomDuty's video. Also do a food tour like "Steph and Pete" did or cooking class or ride bikes around and see how the locals do stuff like "Chase and Shelbs".
