  • Hand carved stamps are really gaining popularity lately, and I can totally see why. Hand carved stamps can be anything you want, from rustic and cool to intricate and lovely. They make printing your own gift wrap and graphic greeting cards a synch and the stamps themselves are fairly easy to make.
In this tutorial I take you through the process of designing, carving and mounting the stamp; then I finish the video with a few pointers about printing and I show you how I make my hand printed holiday gift wrap.

The ink cleans up well with water. I usually just use a bit of warm water and dish soap and an old sponge to clean the stamp.
