just practice... believe me, you´re faster than you ever know about yourself. I wasn´t able to shred anything at half the speed three weeks ago. It took me just three weeks to get from "I´m plaing scince 7 years and suck at guitar, to I´m able to play "Vengeance" from 3:18 - 4:30 in full speed, without mistakes. The only thing Im sad about is, that it took me 7 years to realize that it is not a wonder but work. Talent is nothing without the skills. You can have the Talent, but you have to build up the skills.

And it also helps to practice by playing actual music, not just running scales and fingers up and down the neck unless you need to learn the scale itself or to isolate a particular finger movement to improve upon. Even Yngwie himself stated that he never really focused on "practicing" the way most people do. Instead, he chose to find a piece of music to play and worked at it until he had that down, then moved on to the next piece of music, and the next, and so on.
