I really love your clip! You have discovered the big mistake of the bag. I was also worried thinking about your clip before I bought it. But I knew how to fix it. Turn the direction of the lock outwards when you hook the yarn up in your pocket so the lock will not get stuck and open when you touch the leather of the zipper! And I checked and decided to buy it! I feel sad when you gave it back. The bag is really beautiful!

Good job with this video! I've been considering this bag and your detailed review made me realize I would be bothered by many of the same things (the zipper not opening all the way, the divider inside, the raised bottom, the clasp over the top PLUS the zipper entry...). The likelihood of the gold front scratching wouldn't bother me as much, generally, except it's such a large piece of hardware, that it could really become bothersome, and I've heard LV hardware scratches very easily. Finally, your last point about the chain rubbing right up against the zipper pull material is not something I would ever have noticed until it was too late, and is a sign of poor quality, if you ask me. The zipper should be better protected on a bag with a price point of $3K+! One thing that occurred to me, though, is that if I had this bag and wanted to keep it, I would just use the clasp over the top and keep zipper open so I wouldn't have to keep doing two things to get in to the bag. BUT, too many other things wrong with it. I'm hoping LV makes yet another version of the Petite Malle, perhaps a bit less petite once more, as the current version is still so small...

I just got mine and I totally love it! I even hot stamped my initials in the inside of the leather strap that adds to the beauty of this gorgeous “special occasion” piece. Not too concerned with the the hardware being scratched. For the price you pay for this, I imagine it’ll remain very sturdy. Thanks for returning so others can enjoy. It was long wait list....
It is beautiful bag, but if you have reasons then it is good decision to return, in my theory of purchase luxury items, if I have any doubts, I will definitely return it. When you pay ton of money for the item, it must 100% love it not like it. Great video ❤️
