  • Grand Princess Cruise to Hawaii, this was our first stop, Hilo, HI. This was our ride up to the Tropical Botanical Gardens and back to the ship. Guide told us about the devastating Tsunami that damaged old Hilo last century.

      @@escapism-mn3yg You, Sir, are wrong. I do live Hawaiʻi, she does have a very slight accent - not at all like my neighbors and friends. Hers, I guess, is Hilo.

    • @SashaDeKasha
      @SashaDeKasha Před 5 lety +3

      Crystal Styers buy a van and get the required permits to drive passengers and to pick up from the port 😊 Or search tour guide jobs Hilo 😊 Well, you have to move to Hilo first 😊 Recently, someone in Hilo was looking to hire a live in private chauffeur and a housekeeper

    Two comments from a guy born in Hilo. First, no way that it took 12 hours to get to Kona. Absolutely not. Via Volcano, 3-4 hours, via Old Saddle Road, maybe 3, and out Hamakua, up to Waimea, and then to Kona, maybe 4. Twelve, no way. Also, the guide points out the misleading wave heights on the lighthouse. Yes, 35 feet over by the Wailoa River, but at the lighthouse and Singing Bridge, far less. How do I know this? Because, as a foolish 16 year old, I was standing on the Singing Bridge when the big one came in. Hung on to the railing, the water came up through the bridge (as designed) and I didn't die.

    If u like sho some real spots show kings landing and browns (bare balls), down reeds bay, down hpp by da cliffs. Just some fishing spots, honolii, hakalau, Spencer’s small kine, papaikou mill, wherever this scrub like bang all good places for me
