I used to have a neighbour who had an Irish wolfhound. I'm 5'4 and that thing came up to my shoulders. He was a sweetheart, but man, he was HUGE

My family has raised great pyrenees dogs since the day I was born. The first one we got was born the same day I was. We've been raising them for 22 years now. By far my favorite dog. We also raise sheep so they are awesome at livestock protection. And they can get pretty big too.
I saw one of these dogs (I just don't know which one exactly) and it looks like a freaking lion! Scared the hell out of me
How too compare dog sizes:put a Chihuahua next or on them
I had an English Mastiff many years ago. She was a GREAT dog!! I loved her.
