When Esme said that they would take responsibility for the girl, I was waiting for one of the others to just bust out with, "Oh hell no, we're not! You can go ahead and do so, but I'm not risking my life! As far as I'm concerned, I've never seen her before a day in my life!"
If you read her back story as I have, Jane and Alec once lived in a village and we're condemned as witches, sentenced to be burned at the stake at only 12 or 15 I don't remember what age, Aro saved them, converted them to vampires and their now the most powerful members of the Volturi Guard. That said, Jane's power is a powerful burning pain, however its just an illusion, Dakota did an excellent job, of the Guard, Jane, Caius and Aro are my personal favorites. The Guard knew full well of Victoria's intentions and yet they allowed the newborn army to still attack, from what I know of the meeting between Jane and Victoria Jane gave her a deadline of 5 to 7 days to give her army a chance to achieve their goals or they'd all be burned right then!

Jasper wasn’t hesitating to protect bree but when they had to kill her he turned around and to me it looked like he was holding back from killing them

I love how all the wolfs get all their shorts back and Leah gets her full clothes after transforming back to human 😭😂😂
