- In this audit we encounter a post office supervisor who doesn't like filming from a public space. A second supervisor arrives and is willing to learn about Poster 7. A good encounter overall.

I laugh every time someone walks right up to the camera and says, “I don’t want to be filmed.“
Poster 7 didn't have enough pictures. It had words ..Oh the tragedy.
It should have a drawing of a bomb with an red X across it, and then a camera with a green checkmark. Simple.
8:50 "I don't wish to be filmed".
RESPONSE: "With all due respect, you should not walk up to a cameraman then, should you?"
No expectation of privacy in public!
As an auditor you have that extremely frank and cutting ability to dialogue with rationality and focus. Truly a gift among auditors.

It is routine that government employees don’t know their own policies and applicable laws. And, they will routinely make things up for their own devices. Never accept something from a government employee you know y to o be wrong.

OMG! Another dolt that walks a hundred feet towards people with cameras, to say "I don't want to be filmed". The education system, and, parents, have utterly failed in teaching common sense.

Poster 7 is the Post Office rules and regulations. Most people have no clue what poster 7 mean but they understand rules and regulations.

Even if you do not do it, tell the supervisor "We are going to submit this video to the Postmaster General in D.C. with a complaint that your collage came off site and confronted us while we were engaged in a legal activity. We hope it in no way effects his employment." That will of course get back to the arrogant bozo and give him the grief he intended to give you. Also, as always, the magic word that gets action (especially since the supervisor is sensitive to it) is "lawsuit." Your usual excellent work. Kudos.

Can someone explain poster 7 (see below) to me in plain English? . But it also says to my understanding that any authorized personnel can stop you filming in the lobby.
