You left out some old school books that were PHENOMENAL. George Anderson teamed up with Joel Martin and put out books that literally answered almost all my basic questions, and put me on the right path of understanding. I think 2 books, "We Don't Die," and "We are not Forgotten," should be MUST READS for anyone interested in Mediumship and life after death. I have one of the most extensive book collections on this topic, dating back pretty much as far as one can go. Actually a couple of those antique books dating back to the beginnings of Spiritualism are quite good, but knowing how hard they are to find, I won't recommend them. Those make my recommendations seems very new vs old school, as these were back in the 80's vs approx. a century ago lolol
Yeah I actually have many more books to recommend, but I thought I would limit this list to the ones I was first recommended and a couple of my own I first found useful. I'll look into the ones you suggested as well.
Reading this actually brought back how confused I was when I was literally thrust into all of this (I went from truly not believing, to overnight having no doubt we survive death, and I was pretty much on my own trying to connect the dots). I was like a sponge. I read some phenomenal, helpful books, some interesting but not helpful books, and some not so great ones. So if I can ever point out the ones that resonated with me (which can vary person to person) always my pleasure to. I recall one trip home when I was reading one of the George Anderson/Joel Martin books, where my Mom swore she didn't see my face the entire trip....just the book cover lolol. If you get to them, let me know what you think!

PS while not specifically covering the topics listed, the one book that changed my life more than others was called "A New Design for Living" by Holmes and Kinnear. It truly makes you think about how our thoughts and actions affect how our lives turn out, and how there is more than just making it from one day to another. Not sure if my opening to Spirit would have made as much sense, or put me on the better path, without that book, and a few more similar to it! While it's comforting to know our loved ones are still out there, if we want to connect the dots about how it can better effect our time on this side, then other books, like this one, help bring it all together. Just thought I'd toss that out there, if anyone is interested.

My pleasure. Be warned, it's not an easy read, and could have done with a good editor. BUT the content has been priceless in my life! It's based on Science of Mind (which sounds creepy nowadays, but was cutting edge back then I guess). BTW I was excited to see it was back in print. I hadn't been for a few years, and the selling price was a fortune, even worse than the one you mentioned! SO glad it's easily available again! If I could only suggest, or read, one book, this would be the one!

Hi. Ive read Tony Stockwell book Spirited. It was brilliant. ! I had some synchronisation happen while reading his book. Years later I saw Tony several times giving reads to a large audience, and one of the times he read for me he brought through my late husband with specific details. Amazing. I just learned that my dear friend whom has been battling cancer is going on hospice care within the week. so tonight I was on youtube looking for something uplifting to watch and your channel popped up randomly. It was the video on how you discovered you are a Medium. This is a subject that fascinates me so I watched it. I then binged watched 5 or 6 more. I find him so down to earth and authentic and i feel what he has to share so comforting especially in these troubling and chaotic times. Just found your channel- by chance. I don’t know why your video was even recommended to me-but..in the last couple hours I’ve watched several of your videos and your approach is so down to earth and informative. Love it.
In 2019 my mom passed away rather suddenly. Within a year my younger sister died (unexpectedly), followed by my uncle, my mom’s husband and two friends; even my beloved little Jack Russell pup passed in 2020. It’s been absolutely devastating. No one I was close to had passed for YEARS!! However as a young child my father died and he was my family’s stability and strength. He was a kind and loving father to me and my sister. I want to hear from him- from all of them. To tell you the truth, I have heard from some, but I need to learn more about how to communicate with them. I’ve been looking into it since 2020 but I’m also busy with work, life, etc so I haven’t been investing time into making that more of a reality. Thank you for reigniting that

Great book recommendations. I've read most of them, when I started on my journey. In 1981, there was no internet, so I hung out at the Bodhi Tree bookstore on a daily basis and read everything I could get my hand on to understand what I was experiencing. Thank goodness for the internet and now more people who are waking up to their multi dimentional self can find information and not feel so alone.

Talking of recommended books, if I may, I'd like to mention two books that I own, that you REALLY should read. The first deals with the subject of life after death, and is by Paul Beard - Living On: A Study of Altering Consciousness after Death. The second, dealing with the subject of reincarnation, is by Carol Bowman - Return from Heaven. I've read many books on the aforementioned subjects, but these two books are by far the best and most informative.

I have been watching back to back some of your previous content. The one about synchronicities stood out because I have them a lot and watching this video today ,9/20/18, I am experiencing another one. Last week I had a strange dream about Rite Aid. There are no Rite Aid stores in my state. I saw the unfortunate news today happening about the Rite Aid shooter. My coworker and I were watching the news coverage and he pointed out it was in Aberdeen. Hours later, I begin watching this video and Googled : Gordon Higginson. First thing that comes up in my search is a video called: Gordon Higginson Tutorial 1 Aberdeen. Off I go down this rabbit hole 🙋🏻♀️. Thanks for the suggestions and linking my synchronicities today.

So many brilliant books written by the pioneers in mediumship...these pale to insignificance (except for Doris and Paul ) Gordons book is wonderful...Tony is lovely but what about books like The Surgeon with the Rusty Knife....The adventures in the supernormal autobiography of Eileen Garrett (brilliant) Helen Hughes... Forty years a medium ..Estelle Roberts....Mediumship pure and simple Ivy Northage...the list goes on and on...these psychic books are new age...x

I was looking at your Patreon and wanted to see if you will ever change it a little where you would do group or 1 on 1s or something like that. I've had some insane dreams that oddly enough think are an echo from my 3 or 5 year old depending which one is sleeping next to me and will wake me up having the same dream as I that all have to do with loved ones that have passed or not so nice spirits.

Have you noticed no one really talks about some of the negative things, when I do too many readings at a time, or do gallery readings I wind up getting this terrible head pressure, the next day I will sleep, or be drained the next day. I've always wonder if everyone goes through this too.
Last gig I did I read for 25 people and it was really pushing it, I wound up with flu like symptoms.
I've had some spirits in car accidents explain their accident to me and I've felt the pain, not as much as they did, but it wasnt pleasant. When I asked them to release me from that they did, but still ouch.

Paul Jacobs says that only happens if you are using your mind instead of using spirit. If you're properly blending with spirit it should give you energy. I saw this first hand with him while at the Arthur Findlay College. He would teach class all day, do a demonstration at night to a church full of people, and then be at the bar afterwards until 12am. He did that pretty much every day for an entire week. I was blown away by his energy. At 63 years old he was making me look an old man.

There is a psychic medium in limerick Ireland that I would highly recommend. I am somewhat friendly with her and quiet frankly she has changed my life. After my first reading with her my entire thinking about everything changed and five years or so later I'm still down the rabbit hole. I have sent family, friends and neighbors to her, even then men in my family have gone to her. Everyone was blown away. If you are ever in Ireland I would highly recommend going to see her. Or, perhaps arrange a Skype reading. Are you familiar with the Ancestral Medicine work of Daniel Foor? I've had amazing experiences with my own ancestors following the guidance in his book and from the talks on his website ancestralmedicine.org. I highly recommend it! Also, the book Journey of Souls changed my life after my mom died!
Do any of these books help you to determine what is outside information you're receiving, vs imagination? I have things come to me all of the time, but I only accidentally find out, from other people, when I got it from their mind or it's something I wasn't told by them. I need to learn to identify when it's happening, and/or what causes it, or what I'm doing by accident.

@@ShamanOaks I've only recently revisited his material. I read his first book many years ago when I had my first out of body experience at age 18. I was and I am still not able to control it. However, the material he covers in the next two books, "far journeys" and "ultimate journey" are very, very deep if you pay careful attention. it's more that what it would seem in the surface.
I've been thinking about attending, but I'm still trying to master the hypnagorgic state. instead I think I will use the money to build my own flotation tank/sensory deprivation tank as invented by John C Lilly. I just need some means of breaking through more regularly.

I'm sorry I don't, but any medium can also do it over the phone. Distance is not an issue. Colby Rebel is one of my teachers/mentors or Fleur would be great. Just don't tell them anything in advance. Mediumship is so much more meaningful if they get that your husband was murdered without you having to say anything. That's how it should work anyways

The problem with channeling, is that there is no way to know whether these entities which are being contacted, are from God as some suggest, or are counterfeits. In other words, demons working for Satan.
It states in 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, "And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve."
Then, in 1 John 4:1-3, it states: "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come into the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world."
God is not in it to try to take away abilities or keep us from enjoying the likes of channeling, astral projection, OBEs, remote viewing, and other such alleged abilities that are so common and popular in the New Age just because He is cruel, and acting as a cosmic police officer. Rather, He is simply giving us warnings and informing us to test the spirits so that we can be sure it is from God to protect us from deceiving spirits who are in it to draw our attention away from God, and away from Jesus, and ultimately away from the True message of Salvation.
You know we live in a simulation right? Everything in this multiverse is simulated, even that bible you cling to which is borrowed wisdom anyway from hundreds of sages, yogis, and many other ancient cultures. You limit your experience and understanding of reality by only quoting one book which has many different iterations mind you, and you do so NOT because you actually have experience on the subject, but because your ego leads you to believe your singular perspective is the correct one, so silly...

I used to believe that. And I regret to inform you I do not believe in such a silly theory.. but, I recommend you watch the Age of Deceit 1 and 2, and come back to me about how right you think you are. Both are documentaries that pack years of study on everything from ancient times to today. Plenty of information, and if you're arrogant and ignorant of that, then you will refuse my simple offer.. because your ego leads you to believe your singular perspective perhaps? I have experience on the subject, but still learning. And I don't see how that can be a negative thing or fuel for my ego. So to put it simply; please take the time to watch them. It explains it way easier than I can put into words, and saves me the time of typing out pretty much a full book for you on this comment section.. I'll pray that you may see the truth. Hi. Ive read Tony Stockwell book Spirited. It was brilliant. ! I had some synchronisation happen while reading his book. Years later I saw Tony several times giving reads to a large audience, and one of the times he read for me he brought through my late husband with specific details. Amazing. Great video by the way ! 😊
