I have multiple customers from Australia. Shipping prices there actually aren't that bad. Been following you guys for a long time, and would love to work with you guys!
Would it not have been better if you matched the jacket ports on the head gasket into the epoxy? Or would that take away integrity of the epoxy and make it pointless?
You want the holes as small as you can make them, while retaining sufficient flow to the waterpump. Through our testing, this is the hole size as seen in this video.
I don’t have a n54 let alone inline 6 but I’m interested in closing the deck on my vr30. I understand you may not know of the right amount to provide ofc, but will you? Also this is a universal closed deck ( expoxy ) option right ? Like the process you would go about as displayed in this video you can apply to v8s & v6s ??
Wouldn’t be a terrible idea if you had one. It’s non-expanding and non-shrinking, so it won’t be an issue in that aspect. Wouldn’t hurt to throw on a torque plate though, although many machine shops near me don’t even care to use a torque plate when honing the cylinders.
This is not a consumer grade product, although I can answer as many questions regarding the technical data as you need. We buy the epoxy in $1400 quantities from our supplier as that is the minimum purchase order.
@@GarianWraps Alright, it's awfully similar to the Chris Boyette Racing product, you use the same supplier or what's going on? Could you please make the MSDS public on the website?
@@nesmio7378I am unsure what Chris Boyette uses. The issue with his kit, is that it only includes 12oz of epoxy, and the n54 required 36oz of epoxy. We have also noticed that his epoxy is lighter in colour. This could be due to an incorrect mixing quantities. The mix quantities that we use are +- 0.01g precision. The MSDS and instructions will be included in the package.
@@GarianWraps Well the MSDS also contains information that you'd want to know before buying it, which is why I'm interested before placing my order. I tried asking in the chat on the website and despite it saying that someone answers within minutes I got no answer at all for over an hour. Could you somehow share the MSDS tho or are you adamant on only giving it out after purchase? Why? The MSDS is about safety, not something that should be hidden.
@@nesmio7378 Sorry about the website live chat function. Not sure why the message had not gone through. Please email me at garianwraps@gmail.com and ill be happy to provide you with the safety sheet.
Hey Ethan. It depends on if you are wanting to block off the top ports (single turbo), or not (twin turbo). With single turbo, you can go about 1.25” from deck surface, and about 3/4” from deck surface on twin turbo. All about your engines plans and goals :)
It does not affect cooling in a substantial matter because the coolant still flows in stock formation though the drilled holes, which align with the head gasket. Similar to the b58 motor.
Have done a few blocks myself and a few for customers. Holding up great!
Let’s gooo!
Very nice and indepth video brother🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thanks Izaiah!
Are you shipping internationally by any chance?

I was wanting to send this to you! 😎 Can't wait to see it!
Pls do a video of yourself trying this 🙏🏽You’re a revolutionary at documenting this platform, big thanks from the Wild West of Arizona
Will this work on a n55? Will it be safe for a 600-700HP engine? How long does this last for? Does it crack or break over time?
Yes it will work the same way on n55. This is a permanent solution.
Cheap insurance for your build although a little overkill if the tune is good

How height is the epoxy deck?
Any updates
60+ sold. Many engines past 1000 miles. 36+ psi
Is machining the cylinders after installing the epoxy necessary and is a torque plate necessary while the epoxy dries?

What's the epoxy being resold? Or is that a secret?

Just curious, doesn't this effect cooling?

What is the thickness of Epoxy layer?
0.75-1.5”. In this video, it was 1.5”
I didn’t get instructions with mine bro.
