- Well, you made it! Part 3 of the Trey Knight podcast is here. This week the gang discusses what lies ahead for Knights Armament Company. It was an absolute blast having Trey up to hang out and sit in on the podcast and we certainly learned a lot, so hopefully you did too. It was great to remember the old times and plan for the new. Maybe it’s even time we bring back the famous silencer shoots. Who knows what the future holds?

Dude amen on the bad assness of being a tanker back in the day. My pap pap was in a pacific Sherman back in the Korean War (the one with the flame thrower). He was the 30 caliber bow gunner, so what the main character was on the movie Fury. Anywho I got super close to him his last 6 months of life and he shared with me things my family never heard before. (I got to see him 3 days a week for 6-8 hours in between classes of my community college because I lived out of town I’d just chill with him). He had this two day stint in the battle of Soul that haunted him the rest of his life. They were sieging the university of soul. Good lord man his story would bring goosebumps to your arms and the amount of people he estimated killing those two days was insane. I guess his number never changed from what he told my dad as a kid to what he told me in college and that was 250-350 people in two days with a 30 cal machine gun. He had really bad PTSD over it but he was the best man I ever knew. He grew up in poverty in Oklahoma, his dad beat the snot out of him and my great grandmother, and his dad died when he was 14. He dropped out of the 8th grade to try to make the family money and eventually lied about his age to be a marine in WW2. He never laid a finger on my dad or his brothers or my grandma and he broke the cycle of abuse in my family line. Fucking love that guy man. Here’s to you pap pap. Simper Fi.

Love this dude . Growing up my favorites were always KAC , Diemaco / C.C. , Colt and LMT . These are still my favorites to this day . I kick myself in the ass for selling Legacy model Car Lenth 14.5 SR15 when they were using Diemaco barrel blanks ..

The Future may be here, but try buying a Knights QDC can, bolt carrier or rail not to mention the whole rifle. That said, finding something you’ve waited for is sweet.

I've been trying (really hard) to chase down another CRS/QDC can.. but after hearing how excited Trey sounds about the new silencers that their currently working on... I think I may just wait now.

Excellent podcast Kevin you did say something that spoke volume “well your not my customers” ( not being a jerk) but quality does cost and it’s not always about a price point in a race to the bottom. But I will say in the 2A space Palmetto State or Daniel’s defense has a different goal or customer base than Knights or Q. None of the folks I’ve took out to shoot the mini fix or honey badger didn’t enjoy it but yes not all of them had the wallet to buy it but they did get to buy an experience or education about higher end products and that’s what I’m seeing leads to a more educated customer.

I’ll support Q as much as I can, I’m ride or die they know this but I would LOVE an SR15 and/or a KAC can like a QDC or the NT4 they’re just a staple in the history of firearms like the fix and HoneyBadgerSD. These 3 episodes are so funny too Trey is a good dude.
