Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Scarlet and Violet Gen 9 using only Water types?
Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
Always Set mode
No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
No overleveling the next gym leader

Gyarados learns Fire blast and Flamethrower because it is a dragon without the dragon type.
Instead of doing mono type run why not do something different like doing a run only with pokemons that have single stage or you could do middle stage or if you want extra challenge you could go with baby mons...............

It's kind of incredible just how good Cloyster has become over the years of updates and additions to moves, held items, and abilities. Lowkey the MVP of the run for me.
Skill Link, Shell Smash and King Stone Cloyster is such a strong and funny Pokemon. I love it.
Right, especially in S/V where the White Herb is an infinite use item, so Shell Smash becomes even more broken on Cloyster.
@@adetabiremre I'm not using White Herb on Cloyster because its defense is pretty high even with a debuff and its special defense is so low that everything kills it with one special hit anyway.

Flamethrower on Gyarados is that Pokémon Stadium level shenanigans that I’m here for
If that pelipper had drizzle this would've have been a whole other run.
You know, I'm pretty damn sure Slowbro can learn Flamethrower, so it could've made the Abomasnow much easier, as well as the Meowscarada (given it's bulk).

Considering Gyarados famously uses Lots of hyper beams in the anime. Flame thrower isn't nearly as confusing, if anything. The fact that it can't learn Scald, The Hot Water Move. Should be the ??????????? part

You could have looked for persim berries to have a better chance at fighting Iono since a few of those deaths were results of confusion

I like Penny's team. The second time I played Pokémon I used an all eeveelution team. It went really well.
I would love to see an all eveelutions run. So that he has to try to keep some of them alive.

@@parthsarthyrai7731 There's an in-game trade (don't remember which city) where you can trade Paldean-Whooper for Johtonian-Whooper, but I think most Nuzlockers ban in-game trades for their runs.

Quaqaviel is the most underrated starter, man is a best dancer
It's a great Pokémon plus it gets an awesome hidden ability plus a very good signature move. Plus that Pokémon reminds me of Sylvando from Dragon Quest XI
Mismagius is my fave ghost type and seeing her almost level your team made me smile. Great run pal. Enjoyed the content 💯

Ok I think it's time we explained why Nemona picks the starter weak to yours. My best theory is that she intentionally picks that starter to help you. Remember that Nemona is a champion rank trainer and she knows that she can't use her usual team on a beginner. So it's likely she chooses the starter she does to give you a fighting chance. So the next time you think she is stupid for her choice of starter, just remember that she's going easy on you. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk!

You should've done this in Violet so you could use Paldean Tauros's Water/Fighting type form
You should do a hardcore nuzlock randomized where you only use Pokémon you haven’t used in a run. If it was caught but just sat in the box, it’s useable

Magnificent, a true mad lad in water Pkmn nuzlocke. And as a water type user I really enjoy using them in any battles n such, plus loving Misty n Lorelei characters reminds me of them as well.

Excellent video, although I kinda prefer the option of set-up moves in the challenge since seeing your awesome set-up strategies is super cool as opposed to just spamming damage moves repeatedly

Don’t you have to beat the game to even unlock those? And don’t you also need like competitive play ready level 100 pokemon? I’ve heard only some Pokémon will work for most raids
