Lol, there isn't a single chat / community for any streamer or youtuber that submits funny YLYL videos. The vod for a YLYL stream is always a rough 3 hrs or something, but the edited 10 min vid of the actual good clips makes it seem like it's better than it is.

@@KingR098 The real problem is that most of the videos are either submitted with the intent to annoy the streamer rather than to actually make them laugh, or videos that 99.9% of streamers have already seen enough times to become immune to them no matter how funny they were at first. There's millions of hours of video uploaded to the internet every day, how hard can it be to find something new, short and funny?
I'm halfway through this and I'm starting to understand people really don't know the difference between something being actually funny and something you personally find funny.
I remember back when I used to watch anime compilations and they would always label them as funny moments even though it was just ecchi clips. I like that stuff too, but it's annoying that that's all you get in compilations that are supposed to be funny
No, that's not true-- well, maybe a little sure, but that's not the problem. The problem is that chat was donating to show 2 seconds of a random video during a part where nothing is happening. No one, even the person donating, thought those clips were funny. Other than, like, 2 videos I guess.

@@georgetriantafyllidis6525 eh personally I think that's up for debate. If you look at humor from an objective standpoint, the three main characteristics of a funny joke or video would be:
1. Timing (properly spacing out the joke/slapping so much absurdity together that it becomes overwhelming and therefore humorous)
2. Context (being able to understand the source of the humor is essential, and in these clips it's even more important)
3. Absurdity (absurdity, or perhaps the lack of it, is ultimately the backbone of comedy. If something is absurd to the point of being tacky and fake, then it fails as a joke, and if something isn't absurd enough (while still trying to be) then it also doesn't work)
A lot of thinking goes into humor and there are formulas, that's how comedians are able to make a living. While what I listed aren't concrete facts and are debatable, they're still enough of a foundation for people to properly narrow down actually funny videos. The people that submitted the clips are just idiots.
