    This is the most simplistic and best video on Map-Reduce I have seen so far. Your way of explaining the complex concepts in simple way is very amazing. You follow the right approach to structure the breakdown of the complex concept and answering in a step by step manner.

    By far the best video on this context that I have seen. Your effort in correlating every assertion directly with code is really commendable. Please keep up the good work.

    • @ScholarNest

      No. Replication is kind of backup copy.

    • @joker-cy6qo
      @joker-cy6qo Před 4 lety

      @@ScholarNest but its is stored on hdfs and we are running mapreduce task on blocks and blocks are getting replicated so how they know that we don't need to run on replicated block ?

    @Coolumang24 Před 6 lety

    Data is replicated, so we will have same blocks on some other system also, that will also be counted. I guess, this will not give the right answer as we have multiple count for same block of data.

    • @akashmahajan1278
      @akashmahajan1278 Před 6 lety

      As the data is replicated but the map reduce framework will ignore the multiple copies and run map function on a single input split.
      Although that is very obvious that only one input split is created for a perticular block
