- This was the first time since the transplant that I got to see the amazing Liz in person!! Such a wonderful surprise and I am truly so blessed each and everyday for a second chance at life. The most rewarding things Is that I am able to thank my donor In person and get to enjoy seeing eachother and spending time together 🙏💚💜
We all love you, Liz! 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻😊😊😊😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

Jill, did your educator raise the basal or the bolus? I find it interesting but complicated, haha !
Haha it is a bit complicated but we raised both. We usually do 10-20% increases based off of the charts and numbers that I am running. When I see a pattern I will make changes depending on when my sugars go up or down and if it has to do with a meal or just making a correction. If I start going up out of no where wi the out eating or dropping then the basal get adjusted but we always try to keep my insulin 50/50 meaning 50% of the insulin comes from nasals rates and 50% comes from blouses. Can get very confusing. Took me many years to know how to make changes myself
