Great ideas, definitely trying out at my next dinner party! Love your videos I avoid any type of food boxes bc of the amounts of single-use plastics and coolers used. Majority of the packaging will end up in a landfill even if it is technically "recyclable".
I believe Purple Carrot uses almost entirely recyclable materials and a lot are made from recycled material. And they have a whole page on reusing their containers as well.
That is great that they use plastics made from recycled material. Unfortunately, just bc something is recyclable and is put in your recycling bin, the reality is, it probably won't be recycled. Recycling is a very expensive process and most items (I think ~90%) end up in the landfill. My goal is to just reduce the amount of plastics I consume from the get go! đ

All Iâm saying is that so many people are using meal kits and purple carrot i believe is the most responsible to use if youâre using one. You canât remove demand from a market, but you can do your best to ethically fill that demand.

I'm going to try the hearts of palm. I loved the yellow flowers! I would remove the lowest leaves from the stems of the other plant, though, so that they aren't in the water.
Excellent video and Dinner party tips. I would only feel comfortable using unwaxed oranges for the zest and since I can't find any locally I would avoid it or use unwaxed lemon's that I can find in a local store.
