- Sediments are actually quite common in epithermal quartz veins, and they can be surprisingly useful when you know what to look for.

Your content is the best understandable geology any place on the tube
Thanks very much Dustin. I should have employed an animator a long time ago!
Myron cook is good but our guy is point on for getting to the details. Tho I like cook because he is a excellent presenter of his area.
Fantastic video that expertly describes low sulphide epithermal gold systems. I worked with AngloGold Ashanti as a staff geologist in Beatty Nevada for a year on a similar deposit and it's pretty fascinating stuff!
Thanks very much. I was fortunate to visit at a time when they had great exposures and then worked with a great animator who brought the processes to life.
Thank you for enriching the field of exploration geology with your highly informative videos, keep up the good work.
Thanks Nawaf. Exploration geology is the mother lode of interesting information for making videos!
These videos are incredibly well made! THANK YOU SO much for this.
Thanks very much. it's been a long learning curve, but it's a fun subject!
i havent watched your videos for a wile and this is awesome, jajajaj i will start watching them again, congrats for the quality and the amazing explanation :)
Thanks Joaquin. It takes a little longer to make the big ones like this, but there are more in the works.
@@GeologyUpSkill amazingggg now that i found a job as hidrogeologist i have money to buy your course hahahha grettings from Chile :)
Earth is so cool...we just need to understand it, and you are doing a great job in doing so!!!!
Thanks Sai. Discovering and reading the stories written in rocks is the best job in the world IMHO.
Excellent presentation, as usual and the animations help tremendously.
Yes. Those animations are better than me waving my arms!
Another fantastic video Nick, and the animations are excellent to get ideas across. Looking forward to seeing more!
Thanks Mike. It does take a little longer to organize, but it is still way faster and better quality than doing the animations myself.
Very well presented and a great explanation.
Thanks very much. I learned quite a lot putting that video together :)
Grateful to find your channel. Keep up the good work🤠
Much appreciated!
Unbelievably great visuals and animations, no one else is doing this, A++
Thanks Tommy. I hope to scale this up to more formal educational content in future. It works very well for geological processes that happen over long periods of time.
Fantastic work! I'm an economic geologist and am usually not thrilled with youtube explanations. You're spot on (and you're right - your graphics people are outstanding!) Thank you.
Thanks Kurt. Animated graphics combined with real world video seems to work particularly well for geology.
Anoter oustanding video. Thank you very much for sharing your expertise and insights.
These animations made your videos even more interesting.
Cheers!!!
Thanks Vitor. Yes, I plan to use more animation in future. They really help to explain the ways that systems that change over time.
Excellent presentation Nick, well done. Some of those vein systems are incredible. I can send you photos of a road side cut with impressive veining which contains 14grm per ton AU. Do you have anything on Komatiites (spinifex textured), Serpentinite, ,olivine and Interlayered pyroxenite and peridotite. The areas I prospect always contain the above along with BIF. Thanks
Thanks very much. I haven't worked much on ultramafic rocks with those textures but I'm sure it would make a good video!
Another great video. I always learn so much from you. Thank you...
I learned quite a lot making that video!
What an amazing video! The animations really made a huge difference, great job!
Thanks Matheus. Yes. I will certainly use more animation in future videos that describe processes over time.
Been waiting for new video
Always a favorite to increase my knowledge and enjoyment of the field,
This one took a long time to compile since contributions came from so many people, but it was worth the effort!
Thanks. Glad you liked this one too.
All those Australians looking at the two dollar coin for reference, it’s a New Zealand coin and roughly the same size as our $1
Haha, I prefer to use my hand as a scale bar. It's a bit more universal.
Awesome Breakdown! Thanks from "Suture Zones" of Central Idaho!
Thanks. Hope you find some over there :)
I also encounter the same vein-filling sediment lamination within the fracture zone in a bauxite deposit.
They are everywhere!
Thank you mister
great quality!
Thanks Nik. Much appreciated.
Just like the later we find in agate minerals.
And quite a similar process I think.
Great explanation, good job
Thank a lot
Thanks. The animations make my job so much easier.
i'm no geologist - rather, a geographer with a lot of different interests! - but i wanted to let you know that the combination of the crystal clear animation and your succinct explanations seriously improved understanding for me.
cracking vid nick, love your work.
Thanks very much. The animations combined with real world video are a great way to explain geology. I will do more!
Keep up the great work!
Thanks Chin. I will try!
Another beauty!👍
Thanks Nick. It was a while in the making, but shows the power of collaboration with good people.

I did indeed. Fantastic geology!
I need a super "like" button for this video, very well explained

It is certainly an impressive vein system.
