I actually donât mind there not being a voiceover, I feel like a lot of people would agree that we sometimes prefer more asmr style videos where the sounds are recording in real time without the voiceover, itâs super relaxing to watch đ
what if you let go of this channel & upload your journaling videos on your main channel? it would prob help with the pressure you feel on keeping up with content here & at the same time you are being more active on your main. đ€

I absolutely adore the idea of having a digital journal, and it would honestly be so cool if we had a readily available option to have completed journals printed as books for our collection so there can be the same satisfaction of flipping through/revisiting memories. I began loving the process of visually creative journaling this year, but because of my disability I cannot keep it up! Digital journaling seems to offer the opportunity to continue expressing creatively when doing so by hand is not feasible. Iâm glad you found an option that works for you! â€
There are a few companies where you can get your digital planner/ journal turned into a book.

I have looked into some companies over time, and each time I am concerned because paying attention to their policy stuff, they say that the work they print can be used by them in some cases- and that worries me if it is a private diary! So I should have been more specific in asking about companies that would print our digital journals and it would remain private.
I use both a physical and digital reading journal. I only use my physical bullet journal for books I really love and want to journal about. And my digital is for everything. It helped alleviate the stress of having to catch up for me cause it eliminated the need to sit down and make a spread for all the books I read (150+ a year). I still get he joy of being able to create in a journal without the pressure. Itâs important to just do what works for you and what gives you joy.
That's what I do too. Best of both worlds.
I love the honesty in this! Bullet journal should never feel like something you're pressured into doing. The journal needs to work for us and not the other way around.
Good notes, itâs literally a fav. I am also having that feeling where my physical journaling feels like a chore. I definitely want to switch to digital journaling.

What a great idea- to have a reading journal thatâs digital! I can relate to how you are feeling with the physical version- I ended up stopping in April- I just couldnât keep up with it and it started to feel like a chore. This way seems so much easier!
itâs always hard with hobbies that you love a lot and want to share online, because then it starts to feel like a chore and it puts pressure on something that used to be a lot of fun :( Iâm glad your digital journal is working out for you! I love the idea of a moodboard in the notes section, and it seems so much more streamlined!
My journals that I do - art, gardening, gratitude/prayer, Bible, reading, and my daily writing journal.
goodnotes/digital journaling is such a good choice! my reading journal is on there (we literally have the same one hehe) & i physically journal when i can, but it's important to do the things you love in the way that makes you the happiest đ€ whatever decision you make, we're with u all the way angel
I was inspired by you and did a physical reading journal for 2021 (at the end of the year so it's like a wrap up) and I love how it turned out. But since I don't have enough time to fill it I couldn't even start doing it for 2022. I feel bad for not having time and couldn't doing it etc etc. So I gave up on doing it completely.
Literally few days ago when I couldn't sleep, I just open my iPad and set up my 2023 reading journal there. It's super easy and most importantly not time consuming. Since I'm a college student, it's a big deal for me that it can be done in a short time.
I couldn't even watch your videos for a long time and seeing this video made me so happy cause I had this thing that making journals on digital would not consider as "real journaling" as lf lt was a thing. I am free for those nonsense thoughts fortunately and loving my digital journal âĄ

I tried it once, but it just wasnât my time. I love physical journaling, even if it kills my shoulders and back. Definitely not good for my cervical disc herniation! Your first reason is so valid!! I do journaling for fun which means sometimes i print out fanart and i always dreaded showing the spread anywhere because it felt like stealing if i didn't give credit!!

I do digital journaling because I felt too much pressure with real journals and they do take up time if I do them everyday. I watch your videos to get inspiration. I am so excited that you are doing digital! I am hopeful to see a digital flip trough !

I second uploading journaling vidz to your main channel! Especially now that youâre going digital - I donât feel like a lot of booktubers have a digital reading journal and it would be awesome to see how you use yours on a regular basis! Iâve struggled with keeping up with a physical one and feeling obligated to have one even if Iâm uninspired so Iâd love to see how the digital option works for you!!

Its still freaking hard work though lmao but I have already drooped it a few days and then picked it up again everyday, and repeat. Im glad youre back but at the same time I get it, adding filming and editing on that, its totally understandable
FYI I absolutely adore your voice, your voice is one of the things that kept me watching all of your other videos. Whilst your own personal feelings about your own voice are valid, I really think its awesome.

I love digital journaling/ planning. I have been doing digital planning, journaling and reading for years. I donât think I have bought a physical book in ten years and Iâve been digital planning for two years. I still use a paper journal sometimes though,but mostly digital.
I only use physical. As a teen I used live journal online though as well as physical. I hope no one pressures themselves to make their journals pretty or aesthetic, scribbles help too!
I also quit my book journal in March! Glad I'm not the only one who felt burnt out/ uninspired

i'm kinda iffy about having a digital journal, mostly because I go "okay, what if something happens to it, excetera" so I'm more of a physical gal myself so I can keep everything in front of me, no decorations at all, just a bookshelf, lists of books to read over time and only print out a photo from my Phonemo printer and write my review. But I'm glad that digital is working out for you â€

At least you can carry your iPad whenever you visit Kevin or Cait. I feel you when it comes to creating your physical reading journal, especially if you have a lot of journals to fill. For me I might put it one like combine my weekly planner and reading journal. Maybe someday I will do a digital journal like you.
You convinced me to get an iPad! :') I also want to use it for reading because I hate that on my kindle I cannot listen to music on the same device. And I want to read fanfiction as well. I always listen to playlists on spotify that are for the books I'm reading and I want to make notes on the books digitally easier. Kindle is great, but it is a bit slow even though it is great for the eyes.
You are the reason I have 4 journals now, but it's ok even though it is sad to hear that, but you obviously have the right to do what you want and what does not make you stressful

I love journal and I have try both method, and I prefer digital for my current lifestyle, it is easier to work with, and often easier to get to. I use Notion, so maybe if you still trying on different digital journal, I would recommend it to you to check out.
When doing any Pinterest images its best to use it on the browser and then you can drag the image and it saves so much storage space
I got my Samsung tablet in June and love it so much. I only use my reading journal in paper format because I love my gelly rolls. I need to sell my journal stuff I don't plan on using. đ đ€Ł
I know some creators donât always love it but you could also just do real time kinda vlogs that donât need to be super aesthetic and super put together and can show the mess and clutter and chaos that journaling is. Just to put less pressure on needing it all perfect when it is a safe space for you and you could make a cozy journal club vibe. I dunno if any of that made sense but yeah!
Also this definitely applies to digital too!! You can just vibe and chat while journaling and just go on about digital things you love, etc, etc

Instead of using an external camera to show the ipad you can record your screen while you flip through in the ipad and upload those vids instead? just an idea :)
