I really hope you guys will also watch the ending where Jin honors his uncle with a warriors death, very emotional scene! Also if you guys want to watch some more Ghost you could also check out some of the side questlines like the tales from Sensei Ishikawa, Masako, Norio, Kenji and also Yuna. They explain a bit more extra story, for example with Masako you go find out who murdered her family, for Ishikawa you go hunt down his former student Tomoe, and many others that have very interesting outcomes! Also I commented a while ago that there are Mythical Tales of Tsushima, those particular sidequests are told in a very unique and beautiful way, I won’t say too much about it but you can kinda see the tales come alive in a Japanese drawing style, it makes those quests really stand out so I hope you guys will maybe react to them!

We were at such opposite sides, morally, that I could not grant Lord Shimura the death he wanted. Jin practically said I am not your son, I take my place as the ghost prior to their final duel. What makes this game so amazing though is that not one side is fully wrong or right. I see what Shimura is saying about maintaining order and the concept of honor. I just could not kill him, no way Jin has lost too much family.
If you watch Lord Shimura closely during the final duel with Jin, you can pick up on the fact he's actually holding back despite this being a duel to the death. He over exaggerates his strikes, and leaves too many openings in his footwork for Jin to exploit. Despite all his talk about Honour and being forced to kill Jin, he cannot bring himself to kill his nephew. Even the stance he uses before the fight commences is one that abandons all defence in favour of agression, leaving himself open to potentially fatal strikes from Jin that he otherwise could've countered or even sidestepped. He even goes a step further and handicaps himself before the fight even begins by taking a step back with the stance instead of a step forward, which is what you're meant to do when assuming that stance.
I hate that this series never showed any of the small stuff. Like the bow mechanic. You can bow at any time, and it has dozens, probably even well over 100 different interactions. You can bow at Taka's grave, and a swarm of blue-winged insects comes out. Bowing to dead Japanese people will cause Jin to say a few words of respect for them, etc.

In real life samurai weren’t that bound in honor Lord Shimura wouldn’t have adopted guns but guess who did in real life the samurai they weren’t stupid. They knew stuff like that was advantageous.
The spare option is the canon one.There is going to be a second game so it sets the future of the second invasion and uncle's help.He will probably get killed in the next one in a heroic way even if he didn't die a warriors death in this one.
