- [Multicam/HQ-Audio] - Dave Matthews Band performs a "Back in Black"/"Stayin' Alive" mashup into "Fly Like An Eagle" at Saratoga Performing Arts Center on 7/12/19. This was the first time DMB performed the "Back In Black"(AC/DC) + "Stayin' Alive"(Bee Gees) mashup. They debuted their partial cover of "Fly Like An Eagle" (Steve Miller Band) in Europe earlier in 2019. Outro to "Jimi Thing".

I worked security at SPAC that season. I heard them rehearse this during soundcheck and saw this coming before the gates opened up 🤘

I actually really dig the mashup of BIB & Stayin Alive...I love the looser, funky, segue-heavy style they’re adopting. As a fan since ‘96, I can honestly say they’ve never looked happier onstage!
This was so crazy live! No one there really understood what was going on for the first few moments 😂
I can imagine, lol. This is WILD.
Easily the best part of the night, followed by the Buddy and Tim duel on the same song. I’ve grown really tired of Jimi but this was an outstanding performance.

Tim Reynold's just ripping it on guitar as always! Truly can play anything on guitar - one of the all time underrated rock guitarists!

so glad my buddy convinced me to make the trip out for this show. these 5 minutes felt like 20 full of dancing and jamming. such a surprise! this is why people love this band

I dont love the mashup but I love that the band has been changing things up a bit.
This is stellar, but the sound where I was in the venue (section 7) was nowhere close to this level of quality. Concert would have been completely different if it sounded this good.
Ethan Rothstein - I was in section 7 as well, the sound was not good, I won't do that again, but the concert was great as usual!

@@yourmother3207 I saw him while he played with Bela Flack at the Winnipeg Folk fest ... his double sax solo still has me wondering if someone slipped something in my drink . The only other time I felt that way was watching Neil Peart of Rush doing a drum solo !!
