I've even seen constables raise a knuckle to their forehead as the master has passed. I transferred to Merseyside as I found this innate grovelling to our "betters" quite sickening. Cheshire Constabulary have been challenged a number of times on their lack of appetite to prosecute any of the hunts operating in the county. I live in West Sussex and love to go rambling through the countryside as it's very beautiful. Unfortunately there are people living in it who are abhorrent towards others. One can only assume the reason they live in the countryside is to get away from human society as they have to interact with other humans having to act civilised, the concept of which they clearly struggle to get their heads around and so they deign to hide away in the middle of nowhere living a quasi-medieval existence. So while the rest of civilization progresses further into the 21st century, with all the advances made in technology, medicine etc, they're still living in the 15th Century suffering delusions of grandeur. They're a throwback to a time that doesn't exist anymore, so when they spot people from the 21st century they're immediately hostile as we remind them of the reality they've ran away from.

It is often argued that the hunters wouldn't have been able/want to assault the saboteurs if the saboteurs had not taken interest in the hunters. The only false element about the hunt is the trail story. This is a very active hunt which flouts the law regularly. Hunts are such wonderful examples of human beings! If they were not breaking the law, they would ENCOURAGE the monitors to follow them, just for some extra eyes on the hounds, you know, to make sure foxes are not being chased and that hounds are safe and not straying onto roads or into danger, which is a frequent problem faced by hounds on hunts. Anything to help keep them within the law, you'd have thought!. If it were true what they said, they would invite independent observers along on each hunt, just to be sure, and to record events as they see them.
PLEASE do not hate the hounds, they're only doing what these scum subhumans have trained them to do, and that is to chase and kill wildlife. Often, contrary to what the hunt master would tell you, the hounds also prey on deer, hares and farm livestock. This is because they are not properly trained to only follow one scent, the scent of a fox, they will track and kill other wildlife and domestic animals too. IT'S NOT THE HOUNDS FAULT.
Some sabs say some unpleasant things about the hounds, when really, ALL the unpleasantries need to be hurled at the human hunters. This is not even hunting!, Proper hunting can mean stalking your prey for hours on foot, sometimes all day and all night, before making a, quick and clean kill, usually with a gun or bow, or weapon capable of making a more humane kill. No good hunter will celebrate a kill either, they usually feel quite sombre for the life they have had to take, usually in the name of conservation, or in some cases, food. All of the animal is made good use of, the meat, the pelt and the bones are all used. This is different, this is blood sport, not hunting. We need to stop calling this activity hunting, because it is NOT.
No good hunter will use dogs to kill larger animals either, maybe rats, mice and rabbits yes, but nothing larger than that. Most large hunted animals like deer need to be shot in order to guarantee a more humane kill. Dogs may be used to track prey, and keep prey animals, such as wild hogs 'at bay' while the hunter follows their cries to the animal, and the animal is then shot. That's hunting. Not this mess.

Khawar Huddsin: Fox hunting has been banned. They now follow a pre-laid scent trail. They are trail or drag hunting. So long as the Hunt can control the hounds no foxes are chased. The problems with loosing the hounds are caused by the sabs who blow horns mimicking the Hunt's horns. This confuses the hounds, they don't know who to follow and the Hunt loses countrol. Sabs will call the hounds across roads and railway linces, endangering them. If the Hunt loose control of the hounds they could pick up a fox scent and be unable to call them off due to the sabs blowing their horn.

    1. Why are the Police allowing Fox Hunting to occur, when
this activity is illegal and has been banned by Parliament?
    2. Like any sporting event, I take it that each organised
Hunt pays the cost of the Policing.
    3. As there is a danger that a member of the Public could be
seriously injured I take it that each organised group requires Public Liability
Insurance before permission for a Hunt is given.
    4. As each organised Hunt use Public Roads, Bridleways and Footpaths I take it that the correct procedure is that a Hunt requires prior written permission from the local Authority.

David Stewart 1. Killing a quarry with hounds is illegal, but hunts can use hounds to flush the quarry out and shoot it with a shotgun or kill it with a bird of prey. Or the other way to hunt, is trail hunt. 2. Yeah I think so. 3. Yeah that's in the members subscription contract (well on my hunt) 4. For bridleways, there is no permission needed as its a horseman's right of way to ride down there, regardless of hunting. Same with roads - we have the right (like any other person) to cross/travel along the roads. We don't need permission. But every hunt MUST get permission form landowners to hunt their land; and going along their footpaths is okay, but if you were to ride down them, any walkers you come across, have the right of way.

I would invite Mr Neill Millard and welcome him to hunt with us any Wednesday or Saturday. Hope you see this post Neill
