Hearing Shannon lee talk about her father literally brings a tear to my eye.
Man, you guys did an unbelievable, remarkable, awesome job. I'm 61 yrs old and I grew up in the 70's in my early teens, and I have first hand experience dealing with racial prejudices and bigotry and you really had to have been there to really appreciate what he was going through. Now days the notion that an asian can't carry a lead role in a movie is preposterous and ridiculous but that was the sentiment and attitudes back then. Thank you so much for doing this. You guys really did it justice and I'm sure Bruce Lee would be happy and proud. Bruce Lee was just a genius and he broke so many barriers for all minorities.
Mad respect and gratitude to Shannon and the rest of the team behind this show. I don't think there could have been a better way to honor her father's legacy than to turn one of his most ambitious projects into a reality. I hope we get a season three!

Bruce Lee was a martial artist first and foremost, some people say oh he was just a actor, but that is not true at all, there has never been a more pure and genuine martial artist, even all his film and TV ideas were all about the martial arts, and sharing his philosophies on the martial arts
About time Bruce Lee got his own TV show, 50 years later. And what an great epic brilliant series in its debut season, I dare to say this so really I don’t care about what people think but Warrior is as good as Game of Thrones. Now it’s my new favourite TV show, well done.👍

1:24...and pause on that page of writing.....after reading it, I have zero doubt that they made Warrior EXCATLY as Bruce had envisioned it, I'm sure he had visuals in his head that he didn't write down.... Amazing show....brilliant writer. WOW!

Bruce Lee wouldve been one of the best Hollywood writers, producer, and directors of action movies. He wouldve brought a great philosophy and depth in the stories and characters to his films

It was a different time back then.
He wrote treatments for several TV shows and movies. Shannon says she has more than just The Warrior in their archives, she even has a script that he started writing.
Instead of this, we got David fucking Carradine...ugh
That.. Still bothers me till this day. The fact that a Chinese Shaolin monk was being portrayed by a white man.. Even though he was technically half white in the show, it was still weird.. At least the show was able to generate several steady employment opportunities for the other Asian cast members.
I wish if he converted to islam and became a muslim .. i think he would have been even a better human being .. subhan Allah
