The most controversial routine was Fantastic from season 2. It was a burlesque/fan number. It was so controversial that the episode was pulled off the air and is banned from rotation and sales. Can't believe you missed that one!

Lol I think Lifetime tried their best to remove any contents of that dance. I remember watching it for the very first time -- was noooot as bad Electricity but it still wasn't an appropriate dance to do. When I rewatched the show that episode/dance was nowhere to be found on Lifetime's site ahahaha

They chose the costume for television and although Kenzie totally slayed in this dance with the costume and all, it still was a bit inappropriate for her age. But it isn't the first time that happened. I do remember Electricity and some Maddie's solos like come to the cabaret or Maddie. These were also a bit inappropriate for the girls.
Kayla Walker thank you! Finally someone agrees with me. Maybe if she was like eight it would’ve been inappropriate, but that was normal hip-hop for her age. Also they’ve had way more inappropriate costumes than that. That’s like a normal hip-hop costume.

The only reasons Fantastic isn't on here is probably because the episode with that dance in it (season 2 episode 9) got banned from television. If you go on the Lifetime app, the episode is not even on there.

as i’ve seen other people say, if asia had been given the bully solo, no one would’ve batted and eye bc she always had “inappropriate” choreography. kenzie’s childish acro solos and the pigtails she wore all the time made sure people would see her as the baby of the group for a very long time

FANtastic, The Carrie dance Jojo did covered in blood, the child abduction one they did for Nationals in Season 4, I see the kite flying (from season 2).... when you start thinking about it there are a lot of controversial dances!
I think that in one way or the other, all the dances were somehow controversial
I love Carrie the Musical and she is one of my dream roles and I think that is a good dance and she didn’t have to watch the movie but she had to know the plot

If you think these are controversial than you have no idea what its like in dance world. My studio when I did competition did dances and solos like this all the time, and my cousins studio used a bubble multiple times. The only controversial part of this video was the guy starring at Asia 🤮
Janine Vales EXACTLY! This is just simply the dance world and how you win competition. The controversy comes from the adults and taking it way over what it actually is.
