Brilliant end game by white. In fact, his calculations at the moment when he gave up his Queen, were simply awesome . Brilliant game.

This game is so full of great things. Its makes me think that being a grandmaster who can do this and enjoys games like this, must be barely short of laughing out loud about how cool their life is.
Most people's muses don't deliver this kind of delight. Unless she agrees to live with you. :)

Great video with very clear tactics! Perhaps conceding was a tad quick perhaps

"bishop to b4 is slightly unpleasant" um, nah. That's a nightmare haha. Can't block the threat and there is no counter play I can find. Drops a queen for maybe 2 minor pieces

First reaction was: just take the rook and the knight for the queen. Turns out it went even further than that.

Be5+ easily won the game after Qb3 because of R:b3 taking a queen being left with an extra rook

The tables turned right after white took that rook! All of a sudden white was the one attacking and all black could do was defend

  • @yasedky

why black did not castle ?
    after rook A to C1
    instead of Q-d8
