Hey! Thanks for your kind words. We are currently at around 25% unemployment vs 6% pre-covid. Likely to recover partially but not completely for....12 months maybe? Depends on factors as much outside as inside Panama and it's anyone's guess these days. The good news is that there ARE companies hiring. Your best source is going to be Linkedin.

As far as general aviation in Panama, what I can tell you is we do have a few customers who fly for fun and there are no restrictions on pilot's licenses for foreigners in Panama other than the standard requirements. If your wife and children are important to you, this is VERY risky in the long run. Doctors are TERRIBLE. TWO of my relatives died from complications from totally messed up surgeries - BOTH the doctors' faults but they can't be sued. Another relative is permanently blind in one eye because of a shitty useless eye "doctor."
