But it's shed hair in it. Your supposed to comb out the shed hair. The finger method doesn't get it all out.
@@monie948 Yes it does. u can use ur fingers as a comb to pull the shed hair out. It just takes more time and patience, but causes less breakage.

Hi there , I have so many knots and tangles on wash day, it literally takes me 8 hours to finish washing my hair. I detangling and twist my hair before washing, wash my hair in twists, take down the twists when it’s time to deep condition but when I do that, it tangles again then I have to detangle. My hair has been breaking so bad lately it stresses me out. What should I do ?
What is your trimming schedule like?
@@beautosal_170 I haven’t gotten a trim yet but I do occasionally dust my ends. The problems began when I left my protective style in for 3 months and had experienced breakage from removing them. I’m a college student who does not have any professional natural hair salons near me.. do you suggest I trim my own hair in mini/micro twists? Will that get rid of the split ends?
Sounds like a trim is definitely needed. I suggest you get it professionally done if you can. I personally trim my hair in a blown out state so I properly trim off the dead ends. This should be a good start! Additionally, you can add a protein treatment to help strengthen your strands and to minimize the tangling and formation of knots.
@luka da Silva. Hey luka. I used to have the problem with terrible knotting and tangles. In addition to keeping the ends dusted, be careful when you are shampooing. apply shampoo to scalp, work it through the hair in a downward motion or the praying hands method. Do not do that circular scrubbing of the scalp. Also, after you apply your conditioner, detangle the hair either by comb or fingers thoroughly. That made a tremendous difference for me. I used to cut large plugs of hair every wash day because of the knots.
