This is the kind of upg I'd do...anything to tune up the R8 W/O resorting to turbocharging or supercharging. The reason why I would buy an R8 is because it's one of the few still naturally aspirated cars out there today.

I was wondering about that. I'm looking at buying a 2017 R8 and have been debating which one to buy, the standard V10 or the V10 plus. You can soup up the V10, but it still wouldn't be on par with the plus with the more aggressive gearing, drive modes, suspension, exhaust control, etc... Only catch is the plus adds a significant amount to the price tag.
Love the red on black. Where are the numbers? claiming 640hp (100chp / 80 awhp) on a tune from VF engineering is massive. Let's see some legit 1/4 mile numbers from a accredited track.

When the actual V10 plus is only 10k more on used market.... your missing the race mode, the exhaust button and other bits you get stock of the plus. Completely pointless to me and to top it off your warranty which is most important is now voided for the sake of 30bhp more the a plus which I find hard to believe in the first place. Drag it against a real plus and post it!
Naw it’s a different between heavy as boat muscle cars that need stupid amounts of power to be any kind of fast an a engineered super car that goes fast in every way not just straight with less power. They run 10.6-10.5 at 129-130 stock hellcats with 750 crank and 650 whp can barely get out the low 11 and trap 123-125 hero maybe 127 in perfect conditions. This car will run its times and trap back to back within 1.2 tenths everytime In hot or cold weather . Super cars are always better than heavy boats

New base R8 is around 140K, 155k fully optioned.

Well the tune itself raises the power from 540 to 630 so I definitely believe him when he says he got 640 hp with headers he can be between 660+hp
