You would think but have you ever DIY rhinestoned anything? You would think it would be quick...hell no! You're sitting there for hours, placing, securing, curing...it's very tedious, especially placing one by one
@@Screech911 if you want "cheaper", go to the dollar store. Just because you can't afford it that doesn't make it wrong lol - this woman has taken DAYS to individually place, glue and cure each stone. You're obviously not familiar with the process which is fine, but don't make ignorant, uneducated comments about her. There is a large market for this item, which is why they are always sold out. If you don't want to support a small women-owned business just say so. Damn.
@@cass12234 I actually have DIY rhinestoned and you get faster at it. I would assume she's actually pretty quick. The only thing I actually question from the price is the cost of the rhinestones, glass rhinestones are not actually that expensive in bulk. Same as the glue, glue is expensive but you're not using $40 worth of it on just one cup so it comes out to not as much.
I googled glass rhinestones. They do not cost that much😭😂 y’all crazy

So it's not even Swarovski crystals? 😢
@@mrspalmer3 I’ve been googling for a hour it acts like I can’t buy crystals like that u can only purchase made jewelry

$90-100 for glass crystals for each cup…. I smell bs on Amazon the same crystals are under $10 for a bulk pack

Yeah but you arent using the WHOLE glue tube- ur just using like less than 3 dollars worth
40 dollars on GLUE is wild 💀
Edit: to clear things up, I’m not surprised at the 40 dollar glue, I’m surprised that it’s 40 dollars a CUP.
it’s prob some really good glue so that the rhinestones don’t fall off
@bestieslayslay really good glue isn't that expensive either nowadays
It’s also a lie. Just like the price of the rhinestones.
There’s a 9 dollar tube on Amazon for this exact purpose 😂
I think she's being a bit sneaky about it or she doesn't know how to calculate prices
She's not spending 40 dollars of glue per cup. She's buying 40 dollars worth of glue that she uses in more than one cup. Same with the rhinestones, she's not spending 90 dollars worth of rhinestones in one cup, she's buying 90 dollars worth of rhinestones for more than one cup.
I'm not sure that you're allowed to personally personalize a " Trademark " name and then resale it at another price. I read you have to have permission, or a license to work with Stanley before doing things like this. Don't get me wrong. I think your mom does a beautiful job, but I'd be careful doing things like this. Trademark .. is .. Trademark and you can get sued over altering things and passing them off as your own. Also, I get that all the glass jewels are expensive, and the labor was long .. but think about the labor that the other people gave before putting it on a Walmart or Target shelf. Just be careful
You're not. soo many people getting sued.. you can't resale trademarks 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️I like watching CZcams of the businesses getting busted. Gotta educate yourself before selling shit.
@@onasmom21I’m tired of small businesses absolutely scamming people
I had the same thought. I make these cups too but I order mine in bulk from overseas. Cheaper cups same quality but lower price per cup and no trademarks.
I can see Mark Cuban facial expressions from these prices 😂😂😂😂
the lead on that gon be crazyyy
There is no way that $90 worth of rhinestones and $30 for glue. She's getting seriously ripped off if she is paying those prices. I don't even think it would be half that price.
They're obviously inflating the price of the materials just to get more money 🙄
It's called labor. The time it took to make it... bc it is handmade and custom...😮 there's no way I should pay $30 for a pizza but bc of labor and ingredients and time to cook I sometimes have to pay that price for something good and one of a kind...
@@hollycords6380 I'm not talking about labor. Of course someone should be compensated for their labor. She says in the video every cup is $90 worth of gemstones and $30 worth of glue PLUS labor.
Idk about you but if someone told me they were using $60 worth of cheese on a single pizza I would question that.
@@hollycords6380 She is already receiving $116 for the time it takes. The price for the products used consists solely of the products themselves, excluding labor costs.
She probably buys in bulk and is factoring the price of the purchase instead of quantifying the material cost per cup bc theres no way
Rhinestones ain’t no way be that price 🥹

Not individually but packages of them and good quality ones.

Those prices for the materials are deceitful.
I buy these supplies myself and I can assure you that's not $40 worth of epoxy OR $100 worth of glass rhinestones on that cup. The only part she didn't lie about was the estimate for the labor. But then again, I can finish a cup in 8 hours. So there's that. 😂

The rhinestones cost about $25 per cup. Because the rhinestones they are using are in the video they are from the bling dispensary. The best glue out there that is high temp dish washer safe glue is 20 bucks a tube. So the cost is much less than she is saying.
