Actually, it's peculiar to the Bible itself, in spite of what other denominations might teach. The Adventist Church is just one of the very few who are teaching the way to salvation and Christ's intercession for our sins as taught by the Holy Scriptures.

The sanctuary teaching is strongly rooted in scripture. It entirely makes sense. Having been Adventist while a child, left and became a high Catholic, and also experienced Pentecostalism, and then on my journey back over the last few years, I have had the chance in an adult and mature manner to exhaustively check doctrine for doctrine with scripture for scripture.
The New Testament is the divinely inspired commentary on the Old Testament. Jesus fulfilled and continues to fulfil 3 key ministries of prophet, priest, and king.
the 3 fold offices of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said: "I'm greater than the greatest prophet,"
"I'm greater than the greatest temple, or the priest,"
"I'm greater than the greatest King", prophet, priest and king;
One who speaks for God, one who ministers for God, one who rules for God.
Praise God for the three angels messages. He has gone to prepare a place for me. He is blotting out my sins! Hallelujah!

I sincerely love this piece. I love the music but I especially love the message and its truth and its peculiarity to our Seventh Day Adventist denomination. The sanctuary belief sets us apart as a people that know repentance of sin is a requirement BEFORE we enter the Most Holy. That is not something our God does for us. It is the action of love that we do that breaks the boundary between us and God so we can be bonded with Him. FOR ETERNITY! Today as we meet here for communion let's reconsecrate our lives anew to Him and take this opportunity to repent. Amen?
