To describe homegirl’s bankai, she basically uses her seamstress abilities to sew the fates of her enemies. She literally patterns out their own poetic ends on her linens.

Fun fact: when Ichigo met fake Zangetsu/Yhwach for the first time in Soul Society, he tried to tell him his name but it was muffled out, because Ichibei had essentially erased it. Especally in the manga panel, you can see the word written in the bubble but it is completely sribbled over as if someone took a black pen. Really cool foreshadowing.
Even in the anime, it's garbled but it does let the last syllable "ha" through.

no, kubo already addressed this@@TANKYU Tybw is the first arc he wrote. Everything else was written has build up so he started form the last arc and to bridge to it. This is why stark was foreshadowing for kyoraku.

In case the explanation given about Askin's ability is confusing, I'd like to clear it up. It basically means that he can raise or lower the amount it would take for a certain substance to be lethal, so he could make the lethal dosage of cyanide as little as the amount in an apple seed, for example. Lowering the lethal dosage of a substance means it's more likely for someone to be killed by it, while a higher lethal dosage means that it's less likely for someone to be killed by the substance.

The amount of anime original content in these last 2 Ep finale as the half way point of this whole arc, as well as the new abilities we got is overwhelmingly insane.
Most of Squad 0 in the manga was glossed over and only gave shine to Ichibe and Oetsu (Zanpakuto Creator) due to time constraints, but here they all got a chance to shin effectively beating the fraud allegations, especially Senjumaru as the sewing/weaver goddess that has created the clothing of the soul reapers and who’s Bankai before now was never revealed-
The Fate and Reality altering BAN-KAI:
Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji
(Crossing of the Old Woman's Gate, Kāla's Corpse and Thorny Entanglements):
Upon activation, the area around Senjumaru is enclosed by darkness while a torii-like structure rises from the ground. Senjumaru then extends her arms towards the structure as if in prayer. Emitting iridescent light, the gate expands to form a massive golden loom and produces endless swathes of red cloth that envelop the entire scene.
This release causes noticeable tremors across multiple dimensions, including the Soul Society and Human World.
This Bankai’s Special Ability: Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji allows Senjumaru to manipulate the space within her Bankai-literally weaving and sealing victims within her clothwork of their own fate. Her weavings possess unique patterns and powers. What follows is specifically tailored “prison cells” made for killing each and specific individual enemy.
This goes without saying but BLEACH is Poetic Peak Fiction and their Women are built different.
Now as for Ichibe- Names hold meaning which give rise to power.
The most ancient Zanpakuto Shikai: Ichimonji
(“One Written Character")
It’s sealed form takes the form of a large calligraphy brush, which Ichibe uses to write calligraphic characters. Here’s it’s used to conceal the Soul King Palace through its Ink Manipulation. It has ink based spiritual powers, allowing Ichibe to manifest written characters that carry the power of their meaning.
The most ancient and first evolved Bankai: Shirafude Ichimonji
("White Brush One Written Character")
Uniquely, Ichibē activates his Bankai by calling out "Shin'uchi" ("True Blade") instead of Bankai, as Ichimonji was the first Zanpakutō to take on an evolved form long before the term "Bankai" existed.
Upon activation, the blade of Ichibē's brush turns white and becomes a long, thick thread that coils in the air around him.
Shin'uchi Special Ability: With Shirafude Ichimonji, Ichibē can give and change the name of targets who have been struck by the ink of Ichimonji by writing kanji on their body; doing so gives his target the properties and powers of the name granted. For example, by changing their name to Black Ant, making his opponent would be as weak and powerless as an ant, proceeding to change it’s meaning and existence.
Final thoughts:
While I can’t say that this part was better than part 1 due to the hype of having Bleach’s anime back as well as a far stronger and greater impact on the story plot setting up the whole arc, this part still had far greater consistent action animation as well as more characterization and extensions enhancing the manga, so for that reason, I’d say this part 2 was just as grandly good as part 1 for those different reasons.
Part 3 is looking like it’s going to start off with a certified banger and be one for the history books predicted to come in the spring next year following a seasonal pattern. I Guess you could say Yhwach got Clapped Lmfao

The studio is low-key evil leaving anime onlys on that cliffhanger and we manga readers were expecting it to end another like 2-3 chapters ahead on Ch 611 with a big reveal beyond this point being mid Ch 609.”

If anything that probably upscales Aizen. Keep in mind Aizen has been getting stronger while being sealed away cuz of Hogykou. Senjumaru’s Bankai wasn’t included in the manga, so maybe we might see Aizen’s Bankai when he comes back in the next Cour or two.

Absorbing the soul king, elite quincy real battle with gotei 13, chair-sama plot, endgame battle. Thats what it left from the manga. And there are 26 more episodes to be animated.

Idk I may be reaching but I respect Pat whole heartily because he's open about how much he's appreciating and loving Bleach. I feel like Joel and others are scared to admit how great Bleach truly has been because of fear of what the fans from other communities will say. Bleach is BY FAR better than AoT in EVERY aspect and I would have them tie for story. There is no other anime that's fucking with Bleach TYBW right now, closest is probably JJK but still TYBW is beating it in just about every single category. Let's be fkn honest here. Jerry is wylin fr. I've seen EVERY Bleach react that yall RTTV members have done and I have seen & heard you guys praise, compliment Bleach and say " this is the best this or the best that" or Ichigo is by far the best MC, or The animation is the best here, or this show has top tier Plot twists or Bleach has the best villains etc...if we look at all the categories you all have said MULTIPLE times that Bleach has had the BEST something from each category except maybe Story...but now yall wana act and forget about how amazing Bleach has been since the start, stop being afraid of what the communities will say and stand on your words, especially Jerry who either has missed important ass dialog due to talking or cuz he asleep.

@K1raSC I wouldnt say its a complete deviation yet, they're just filling in spots that were off screened and lengthening scenes that were cut short. It's good for added context but the final outcomes of each battle from the manga has been staying the same so far

Bleach TYBW is better than the final season of Aot. And Bleach is better than Aot as a whole. Wellz making a face in the corner like Pat tripping. Pat is spitting FAXX. But outside of that though, Bleach is going CRAZY. Most of that Squad 0 vs Royal Guard fight is new anime only material. Each individual member is so strong that their powers are sealed away to protect the realms. 3 members have to die for 1 to activate their bankai. The finale episodes were fire 🔥🔥. Can't wait for part 3

AOT's hype is very forced by fans who overthink it and excuse its extremely weird flaws when it is one of the worst "deep" anime/manga ever. If you want deep done well, watch Evangelion or GITS. Bleach's ending was rushed yes, but the new additions clearly show it's going to be a superior climax and resolution. Also AOT chars are very flat and not that interesting compared to Bleach. And its just factual the fights are inferior to Bleach by a long long shot.

In the manga, Squad zero had a zero of a fight. There was pretty much just the introduction and some heating up and then it ended off-screen, while in the anime, it was so amazing.
Seems like pat didnt get at 16:26 ; the reason why squad 0 didnt all activate their Bankai simultaneously is because their reishi is so powerful they would shatter the balance of the 3 world, so only 1 should activate their bankai that's why they have the Blood oath

BLEACH honestly showed tf out this entire season and I'm all the way here for the final two seasons of the TYBW anime. They definitely did Squad Zero justice. Also Bleach definitely clears Demon Slayer. Can't speak on JJk but Demon Slayer...yes.

It's not just them, other channels too like Jamie and struckbybelz. I think I know why. The Saturday timeslot is apparently too early for people it's hard to schedule everyone together to react. Demolition for example said he has to wake up too early and edit and it's a heavy toll, and I get it, it's Saturday who wakes up early lol
When all is said and done TYBW arc will go down as the greatest single arc of all shonen. They improved so many little things in part 1, part 2 finale just did an incredible thing, fixing some of the biggest problems, showing off everyone's abilities and improving the flow of the story. Part 3 and 4 are probably going to add a bunch of stuff, like more scenes for Ukitake which is much needed, a better final fight and many other smaller things.

Comparing Bleach TYBW to how AOT is being handled in it's conclusion, is basically what people did to Bleach when they were rolling out garbage filler to keep up with the manga. If Bleach was handled like the TYBW through it's entire anime run this wouldn't be a convo. AOT had the time it deserved to develop it's fanbase. No filler, no super long wait times, and no abrupt animation changes. If you remove all the filler and unnecessary censorship from early 2000s Bleach, it's right up with AOT in story, and better than AOT with fights. Nothing changed with the TYBW arc, Kubo been cooking for years.

Hard to take Jerry seriously on AOT being better than Bleach when he’s falling asleep in episodes like these of Bleach. Bleach has insane foreshadowing just like AOT. Just look at how Ichigo’s Quincy powers were foreshadowed.

If you’ve ever watched WWE you see the terminology Heel Turn all the time. That’s all Eren’s character really is. One huge Heel Turn that was predictable. Just my opinion I still like the show but I don’t think it’s more complex than Bleach imo.

They're underestimating Squad 0 alot f they thought Uryu was about to catch a body 1v1 vs a Squad 0 member granted they have only watched the anime, no way from what we seen with Uryu in this series so far has given any reason to believe he has the ability to beat people on or passed Yamamoto's level
The fact that Yhwach chose Uryu as his successor is a pretty big reason to believe that. Plus, he literally just got a massive boost from Auschwalen.

The ending isn't supposed to go the way readers or watchers want and ppl should learn how to appreciate things even if they didn't go the way they wanted. U can say "the series is dope but I didn't like the ending". There is no flawless series.

So you can't really ignore it and say "but the early story was great" when you realize it wasnt what you thought with the new elements. Your explanation works well with the old ending of Dexter (with the storm), the ending was trash but the rest of the serie was still good, the end didnt impact the story (but luckly the newest season of dexter was way better :D).
