- With Title Update 18 we got a new game mode called descent and with a new game mode comes a new learning curve. In this video, I'm going to help you reach and kill the Nemesis solo to completely your weekly descent project. I'll cover the skills, weapons, talents and stats to pick to make your descent to the nemesis as easy as possible. Now this is my opinion and how I play. I want everyone to remember that you paid for the game and I am not here to tell you how to play it, but just to let you know how I play descent and clear the Nemesis in around 40 minutes per run. I'm also of the opinion to take red as much as possible until you start to feel the need to take blue. And that's up to everyone, how many of those who take blue went to loop 25 with the renegades and for those who went there how long it took them to kill the renegade agents. Yesterday in a group of 4 players who only took the red attribute, we literally blew up the rogue agents in seconds and even sometimes didn't even let them out of the door.
So advise to take the blue or red attribute is really the choice of whoever plays and his way of playing.
In any case, your video deserves to be seen because you give your own opinion there which is very different from some others and which is just as valid.

Leadership and Trauma are ideal for Nemesis
Not surprised there are a bunch of polarizing opinions already. There are various ways to kill Nemesis and it doesn't take a lot to dispense with him - which is why a player with good offensive talents and all armor cores can still take him out relatively easily. When I pick talents/stats, I only think of two things: 1) does it help me kill Nemesis faster and 2) does it help me get to Nemesis faster. On average, my runs come in at under 30 mins and I roll with two skill tiers and everything else into red cores. Pretty sure everyone's playstyle is a bit different so YMMV.
Manny! You forgot about TRAUMA It is THE best "S" Tier yellow, and a must-have!
I agree mostly with your choices, but I LOVE Shotty's. They are OP and make camping doors easy
LMG"s and Shotty's are perfect for "Bullet Hell", if you're lucky enough to get it. If not, Lucky Shot is the way to go
MMR's (and any high damage weapon, including pistols) are great for amplifying Plague ticks, (FogOfWar has a video on how the tick's change depending on which weapon you're holding), but hard to use if the Nemesis doesn't sit still and you're not the best shot with that weapon
As far as SKILLS go, DECOY is a must for the Nemesis. Reviver hive is my other preferred Skill choice, but I'll take Blinder Firefly too. And if I'm RNG hexed, I'm happy with just the Decoy
I choose to purchase an "Extra Skill Choice" as my first transaction, since I only need 3 of each of the Talents getting to the Nemesis. After that, I buy extra Armor kits and Grenades and spend the rest of my currency on re-rolls when needed, saving accumulated coinage for Special Bullets right before going into the Nemesis

Well for my part I agree with the choice he makes to put in the red attribute, you say kill the Nemesis in 30 sec in blue?? So either you're lucky with the red talents or it took you 2 hours to get to the Nemesis. I am one of those who are for taking red as much as possible to clean the rooms as quickly as possible and not take forever to arrive on the Nemesis.
@@Mangafan_TV no it takes me 45 minutes to get to the nemesis. check most of people that speed run it and do tutorial they all get blue stats because all u need is trauma and special ammo.
