- Sharatia Banks used her diy hair growth oil for 30 days and she was shocked at how much it grew! Daily scalp massages felt good but the results are even better. Watch to see how much she grew and retained.

Yayyyy! I’m so glad you were able to reach an inch in a month! Keep it up hunny bunny 🐰. Tfs.
THANKS GIRL!!!!!! Currently brainstorming on how I can double it if possible 😈
@@SharatiaBanks I am sure you will find a way.
Thanks for sharing your process. ❤ I already had the items in my Amazon cart after watching your recipe vid last month. Patiently waited (like the oil infusion) for the right time to buy 😅. Just purchased! I don’t expect miracles lol but after my rosemary water experience, I have an open mind.😊
Lol @ patiently waited! Well I hope it works for you 🙏🏾🙏🏾
love it
Thankssssssssss
I Love your videos so much 😍
I have to try this challenge too!
Random question, but this you by any chance count your braids? I want to recreate exactly your hair style 😆😁
Thanks Destinyyyyyy! And I had 37 braids 🤗🤗
@@SharatiaBanks you’re more than welcome 🥰
Thank you soo much ❤️❤️ I can’t wait to install my mini braids! Hope they will turn out as pretty as yours
Yayyy✨✨💯
Yayyy indeed
Yayyy indeed
So I just installed my mini braids took me a good 4 hours I have 76 mini braids in total it’s being a hassle learning to do my hair but I love it being unable to wear synthetic braids as I’m allergic to them. I’m starting my 6 month hair challenge and would like some advice on how to go about it. I wash once a week.❤❤ love your videos ❤
ZAMNNNNNNN 76 is a lot but for you to have done them in 4 hours is amazing. It took me 4 hours to do 45 🤣🤣🤣 as for advice, I say only wet them when it’s wash day. Redo every couple weeks that’s seems right for you so it doesn’t matte/loc. for me it’s 4-5 weeks. Focus heavy on deep conditioning and making sure them ends are still good by staying on your trims. You may need to cut a few splits here and there so get them before they get you lol (I have fine hair so it’s gonna split regardless but this style has limited the split) that’s the main thing, but as you wear them you’ll find what works best for you 🤗🤗 I’m so happy for you!!! Blessings on your journeyyyyyyyyyy
@@SharatiaBanksThank you for the advice your video have helped me a lot any product recommendations
How many rounds do you wash your hair? Also what are your go to shampoos when washing with the plaits in? I find it hard to get a good, clean wash if my hair is twists let alone plaits; I undo a twist and I still find build up in my hair ahaha.
Once but I’m massaging the plaits too. Sometimes I’ll do twice with a clarifying and then hydrating shampoo. I only use one product on my hair (a light leave in conditioner) I share tips and what I use:

Thank you!!

YAYYYYYYYYYYYY
Hello my dear I am watching your video with all the ingredients that you put in there after one month of storing the oil the ingredients after you put it in your small bottle. What do you do with the stuff that’s remaining do you put more oil in there or you threw it out.
Well, remember I said that I didn’t have enough bottles to strain the remaining? I actually haven’t stained it yet lol I wanna see how long it can go without it smelling bad. (I can always make more 🤷🏾♀️) but I’d toss it out after one month of infusion. I’ve seen ppl infuse oil for an hour and reuse the contents but that’s cause it’s only an hour. I’d imagine after a month, maybe redoing might be best. But If not tossing, then I’d say they might have one more month of infusion left
@@SharatiaBanks thank you very much for getting back to me, sweetheart. I really appreciate you OK so the best thing yeah to refresh put new stuff. Thank you so much. I really appreciate your videos.
You need to sell the oil ASAP.
you think so? 🤣🤣 You know I show yall how to do things for yourselves. I’d feel weird selling it tbh
Also first ayyyeeee
LOVE BEING THE FIRST TO COMMENT!!!
I do not formally measure my hair but maaaan do I want an inch a month of growth 😂 that would solve all my (hair) problems 🤣 i think i can get there with pumpkin seed oil, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, amla, fenugreek and coffee. I just have to be consistent. Coffee has definitely grown me an inch in a month before on its own.
Well then heyyyyyy gotta stick with what works! Are you gonna do it again?
@@SharatiaBanksYes!!! There are so many different ways of accomplishing it so this is motivating 🥰 to get back at it
Give us the recipe please 🥺😭🏋️🤭💜💜
By the way you're so pretty
Thanksssssssss!!! Check out the description for the link to the video or you can click on the card at the timestamp 00:12
Giiirrlll are you selling the oil? Cuz I’d buuuuyyyyy
should I? I'm a diy babe so I thought I'd just share my test recipe lol
@@SharatiaBanks Yes giiirrlll make some extra coins!!
it’s a bit off topic, but can anyone tell me how to make my braids not stiff? 😭 i noticed that whenever i braid my natural hair its stiff and kind of “floats” (that’s cool for a fro, but not so much for braids..)? im pretty inexperienced with dealing with my natural hair, and i’d like to wear my hair out in braids w/o having feeling the need to cover them with a hat or headwrap 🥲🥲
also, might try making this oil if i have the time!!
@@gloopermooper hey! I think I know what you mean and it could be because of how it’s braided. If you braid over handed, the roots are flat but the braid tends to lift off the hair is shorter. Are you an under or over braider?
@@SharatiaBanks oh wow, i never really realized, but i naturally/automatically underbraid… i think u solved my problem. guess i better train myself to learn the other way. thanks a lot!!
@@gloopermooper my pleasure! Hope that works out for you
