- Hey y'all! We took our two jeeps and some friends up to Tray Mountain Road, just north of Helen, GA to do the first trail rides for a couple of Jeeps. We had a blast and hope you can find some inspiration to get out there and do some exploring yourselves! This is definitely a great starter trail if you're newer to the hobby, or need to get a little mud under a new rig. We even had a chance to celebrate our friend's birthday on top of a mountain!

I spent a lot of time on tray mountains in my younger days hunting. I lived for 65 yrs in White Co, retired and moved to Tn to be close to the grand kids.I enjoyed the video but these old ears had a hard time understanding what was being said over the music,

Cool video. Just bought a home outside of Hayesville NC. Love the area. Will be moving up there soon. I've been exploring that area for about 30 years. Haven't been on that road yet. There is one I really like beyond that one. Keep driving up 75 North until you get to the Appalachian Trail crossing. Turn around and about 300 feet to your right is Wilks Rd. It is a rather long ride so start early. It takes you down to 75 A right at the tubing / zip line place you go by going north on 75. Really nice drive.

Im thinking of taking my crosstrek up there soon, do you have the coordinates for the entrance you used? Trail looked tame enough
We started at 34.72293, -83.74759 and just went up the mountain from there!
