    Thank you for making this. The other designs are not difficult to make, but rather just tedious. When I was looking at all those other raised farms, my thought was always, why not just dig down and make a pit? 😂

    I cant wait to make a farm like this, just so I can simplify the gathering process. I will mainly use this for lox and boars, my 2 star wolves cover the countryside with pups easily enough.

    Lox do need 20 meters of distance in order to breed above 4, so while I love the efficient design, the Lox may struggle to breed unless the new babies move farther away.

    • @UnknownFactions
      @UnknownFactions Před rokem +3

      yeah the height doesn't break the lox limit, but the size of the moat usually does :) For simplicity, I think this is easiest

    Need advice.
    I made the same farm a week ago (In the meadows, in a roofed area) and have a problem with loxes.
    Loxs in this position do not want to eat (as in the video) - they are hungry and do not eat. What could be the problem? What are the contraindications for lox?

    • @aelfkins

      It's mainly a southern phrase cattywampus, means crooked or unorderly. Not a word I use everyday but being in the south I do hear it. " yall can't leave your station all cattywampus can you fix that before your break"

    Have to give an update: I rebuild everything, still a little hard to find the right spot for the food, BUT it works like a charm, I can't save myself from all those boars, chickens, eggs I get out of this - thank you :) And if you like you can cover it all up nicely to fit your base and style like I did after a while looking at the ugly rock :D

  • @malinasworld6329
    @malinasworld6329 Před rokem

    Did not work for me - maybe my positioning wasn't good enough but after fiddeling around with the positioning and trying to feed my boars (they just didn't want to eat and I had to remove the front and shove them back which was quite tedious) for hours, I rage-broke the whole construction and flattened the ground and put some grass back on like nothing happened... :P - but I may give it another try after I calmed down - it worked, when I had fed my boars in some way, so its not bad... and I need to feed all these 2*wolves I have :P

    Need to roof it over too so you are protected from flying raids? Also, animals must have feet on dirt, not boards? That's new, and kills the breeder tower idea.

    also, have you encountered the siege "you shook the couldron"? you will need more protection than a ditch ;)

    • @Pimpemon

      You have to enclose and cover the ditch and animals for breeding with wood or stone. I used stone since I also have them in the plains where other bad stuff tries to get in once and a while.

    • @RoseDragoness

      I tried and it is painfully slow. Every 50 minutes you got only 3 boar meats, can't even feed a single viking with that.

    • @honesto1212
      @honesto1212 Před rokem

      @@RoseDragoness Yes don't take it too serious, in the end it IS a Video game. I would recommend to look for one- or better two-star boars and try to get them to your base (at least 1), bread a couple and feed the bunch always after getting up. They double with sufficient space every day and from time to time you thin the herd. You will harvest more than you need.
