I feel personally attacked by this video.
Just slammin down walls wherever you want, not using snap points. Grounds not perfectly level...You're a monster!
Awesome and humble AF
Thank you for making this. The other designs are not difficult to make, but rather just tedious. When I was looking at all those other raised farms, my thought was always, why not just dig down and make a pit? 😂
Unknown factions:makes a breeding tutorial for animals
Tyson chicken: WRITE THAT DOWN!
great and helpful video UF!
Thats brilliant af. You godlike youtuber. Please more. I enjoy everything 👍👍👍👍👍💪
I cant wait to make a farm like this, just so I can simplify the gathering process. I will mainly use this for lox and boars, my 2 star wolves cover the countryside with pups easily enough.
Stuff will still breed if it's on a wood floor but I love the design and definitely implementing into my build!
Im glad you got something from it :) And its been switched twice whether they need to be grounded or not... just playing it safe haha
Lox do need 20 meters of distance in order to breed above 4, so while I love the efficient design, the Lox may struggle to breed unless the new babies move farther away.
yeah the height doesn't break the lox limit, but the size of the moat usually does :) For simplicity, I think this is easiest
Yeah i guess you could always just build the area for the loxes higher.
Lox have a breeding limit of 20 meters
you are the best!
How did your Lox manage to breed? Mine wont even breed till theres at least 2x3 tiles worth of space.
im having trouble getting my lox to eat. Did you have this problem as well?
My lox breeding pit has never worked right TY!
Looks like a moshpit for Lox.
did something get updated recenlty ? the boars just dont eat when in their spots
does this still work? they wont breed from over crowding and iv moved them way higher than what you have.
Need advice.
I made the same farm a week ago (In the meadows, in a roofed area) and have a problem with loxes.
Loxs in this position do not want to eat (as in the video) - they are hungry and do not eat. What could be the problem? What are the contraindications for lox?
My Loxs don't like having a roof over them. Moved them out from under the roof and they ate.
I'm facing the same issue. I don't have any roof over them either, but still they aren't eating
For those of us who dont speak Sesame Street, what in the 9 Realms is Catty-Wompas~?? (Ive no idea if im spelling that right, first time ive ever heard it in my 60 years of life)
Other than my vocabulary deficit, great video, thanks
It's mainly a southern phrase cattywampus, means crooked or unorderly. Not a word I use everyday but being in the south I do hear it. " yall can't leave your station all cattywampus can you fix that before your break"
Have to give an update: I rebuild everything, still a little hard to find the right spot for the food, BUT it works like a charm, I can't save myself from all those boars, chickens, eggs I get out of this - thank you :) And if you like you can cover it all up nicely to fit your base and style like I did after a while looking at the ugly rock :D
Did not work for me - maybe my positioning wasn't good enough but after fiddeling around with the positioning and trying to feed my boars (they just didn't want to eat and I had to remove the front and shove them back which was quite tedious) for hours, I rage-broke the whole construction and flattened the ground and put some grass back on like nothing happened... :P - but I may give it another try after I calmed down - it worked, when I had fed my boars in some way, so its not bad... and I need to feed all these 2*wolves I have :P
Did you have a greydwarf as a pet??? It had a green health bar and was just chilling in the pit with the babies. How did you manage that?
That's the All Tame-able mod, Jocka (The greyling) is my shepherd / build apprentice
Need to roof it over too so you are protected from flying raids? Also, animals must have feet on dirt, not boards? That's new, and kills the breeder tower idea.
Mega-thumbs up!
i have a problem with pigs they changed place , stop eating, and dont come back to they standing like in your video. About one year a go i doint have this problem now i tryed everything is the same problem …. And sometimes the cant move and doesn’t eat food
Factory farming animals in valheim hahaha. This is genius
still working with lox?
Struggling with where to place the food for lox. 😢
Love you
RIP the op chicken breeders on with the next patch.
But what if I *do* have an engineering degree though 🤔
No matter what I do the boars just switch directions.
so if its not 10 meters, how many animals will they breed?
also, have you encountered the siege "you shook the couldron"? you will need more protection than a ditch ;)
You have to enclose and cover the ditch and animals for breeding with wood or stone. I used stone since I also have them in the plains where other bad stuff tries to get in once and a while.
So given the opportunity (in a videogame, I'm aware), we all start a meat production facilty 🥲 "Automatic chicken farm", "super convinient", "help automating the slaughtering process" ... Maybe just built nice areas and stables? And just take what you need? #SupportValheimAnimalRights 😆
I tried and it is painfully slow. Every 50 minutes you got only 3 boar meats, can't even feed a single viking with that.
@@RoseDragoness Yes don't take it too serious, in the end it IS a Video game. I would recommend to look for one- or better two-star boars and try to get them to your base (at least 1), bread a couple and feed the bunch always after getting up. They double with sufficient space every day and from time to time you thin the herd. You will harvest more than you need.
