  • We enjoyed a lovely stay at Mgoza Lodge right on the turquoise beach of Cape Maclear! It was absolutely stunning and had the most amazing sunsets!
Even though it's considered the Cote d'Azur of Malawi, it's still Africa so much different then Europe of course. :)
We met many locals from Chembe village and had an experience we'll remember for life.
Enjoy the video and let us know where you're watching from!

Your "100 Days In Africa" has just been so great. It has been so fun seeing all the places and people you have seen and learned their different way of living in this world. It has been so inspirational to me . I have needed this in my life so it really came for me at a good time. Your music and pictures at the beginning and end wonderful. I have more of your visit to watch, so thank you .

Unfortunately Malawi is a poor country but we do with what we have. Having watched your videos in the country, I've noticed some negativity towards some services etc. I think you had big expectations but I'm glad your loved the little that brought a smile. Thanks for visiting and hope you return one day.

I did enjoy all your videos but for some reason I miss this one which I consider to be the best one. Congratulations, for this option that covers one of the most beautiful areas of Malawi/Mozambique territories.

I could see Chantal sipping her afternoon tea and planning someone's wedding, and on the other hand, she is equally at ease talking with the poorest of the poor. I salute you for being like that. If everyone were like you, the world would be a better place.

I'm a Malawians myself here, BBC misleading the whole world, in fact Malawi is not poor, Malawi is reach. The truth is we don't use the system of the whole world about living. People of MALAWI they're self dependent, in the rural, people they do family and keep food for themselves for years after years, and they need fewer things do buy from shops, just basics like sugar, soap salt extra extra, but not depending on shops for their lives, like the whole world do. 2nd No homeless citizens in Malawi, but BBC doesn't count that. in fact British are very stubborn and egnolant people to say the least, they don't want to study the way of living of this country with their traditional wealth and balance the facts. That which way of living is better theirs and others. People has money in the villages here. people who do farming has money in the villages, but they don't put money in the banks,so as in other countries do for their competition of GDP per capital, but they keep it in their homes. They don't pay tax, they build their own homes from villages to cities, every Malawian has a land to access whatever he is like in his property. Yes the Government has no money to compare to many countries because not in a competition of GDPs. that's why statistics, but citizens very happy with the Government, that's why you find that they're very lovely and happy people and friendly
