This episode credit goes to the scene between mehru's frend and her husband, they talked fully sensible and were caring for mehru. The role played by hadiqa kiyani is fully up to the mark and she nailed the character amazingly so well done for that. And we were expecting more aggressive remarks from phoopo to affan's in laws but she spoke less.. 😢
P.S,, the only irritating thing in drama is affan's fiancee, I skip the scene as she comes... 🤮 🤢

I m a widow and can completely relate to this drama. The story is so close to my life. I lost my husband to cancer and he left me with two young kids. My own family was against me getting remarried. Their argument was the same as shown in this drama that I don’t need a man to look after me since I am well off and have kids. If I do get married then the guy will most likely run away with my money.

I find the culture very strange and very discriminating women either widow or divorce. Women are humans too and humans have needs that is how God created humans. There is no hadith or verse in Quran saying that divorced or widowed women can not remarry and be happy in their lives. Iddah period for divorced and widowed being observed that is very clearly said by religion and women do obey that.

I am a widow. It’s been more than 10 years when I lost my husband to cancer. I had the opportunity to get remarried. Had few good proposals but since everyone around me including my friends and family advised me against it, I declined those proposals and now I regret my decision….. because we all need companionship and a partner. It’s a human nature.
I hope through this drama, people will change their thinking. Even in Islam it’s encouraged that a widow should get remarried so why so do we have so many hang ups in our society.

This drama is based on reality and is also has the funny side to it . Hum TV is the best in presenting a variety of different stories. Unfortunately our society pushes girls to marry at a young age where they lose out on their childhood and aim in life . On top of that a man’s age is not considered.
A man can marry a young woman of any age but for a woman it’s not acceptable which is very unfair and she is not taken seriously so she ends pleasing everyone and yet more sacrifices.

If purpose of the drama is entertainment ( as I thought for most) then it’s fine but if they want to change the prospective then i must say they are going too fast. Why phopoo wants her diwar to let him marry with her bhabi? She has kids so the diwar or phopoo won’t get any share from the property so her impulsiveness is questionable. Mahir also wants a financially strong support so he is also not fair. Mahro should take some time let the son get married then will marry, all this should be shown in proper time span , it seems too early too fast.

Mehru's friend's husband finally made the most sensible point - Mehru should learn and run the business instead of trying to get married. She needs to learn to stand on her own feet, no be like a climber/creeper plant that cannot grow tall without any support.
How will a society that critics end her for wearing colourful clothes take to a woman running a business? Especially a young widow? Let’s be realistic; this society is not ready for that. I even recall her late husband objecting to her studying after Minal got married

The business world is different, I should know. She would need more than tolerance to ensure the business maintains its course and keep their contracts etc. People resign and prevent their daughters and sons from working under some female leaders.
