Welcome Back! This is Matt and I love turning trash into CASH. It is Nacho Stuff but that doesnt mean someones trash can't equal cash. You see, many people have abandoned all kinds of random treasures and toss them into the trash. We take these lost valuables and figure out a way to make a buck from them. Sometimes it through resell, other times we might just scrap it. Either way, we are turning free stuff into cash. I prefer the curbside scene but occasionally find myself in a dumpster or two. Join me as I try to turn nothing into something.
I mostly consider myself a scrapper or repurposer of things that people have decided to discard. Some call it picking while others consider it a true treasure hunt. But at the end of the day, like most scrappers, I am trying to reduce our waste while lining my pockets a little in the process. Each piece of scrap metal, item of curbside treasure or piece of dumpster loot means one less piece going into our landfills and that makes me happy. Where I live in the U.K. one week we have recycling and the other week is household & garden waste, recycling rubbish have ends up on the street as if they miss putting it in the garbage truck they don't pick it up.

Matt next time you find a sink grab a length of PVC pipe you can use a hairdryer to soften it and form fit to your clippers, instant holster.

In the uk we have " house martins " that build mud nests under the eve' s of your house, they just come for the summer.

Question: I never see anyone scrap a vacuum motor. Not worth the time?
I don't know if your scrap yard will be doing this or not . But I watched Scraping with Grandpa today and his scrap yard informed him that they will no longer buy motors from washer machine as motors . They will be labeled as dirty cast . Just thought I'd let you know in case here in Florida they might do that . He lives in North Carolina. Just wanted to in case it happens to you that way you have a heads up .
They are doing that because so many motors now have aluminum windings. They buy them as heavy irony at my yard. Little dip but not too bad
@@nachostuff yeah he said being they are made different now a days compared to how they use to be . So they changed their policy on how they buy them

That is just the setting on the camera - the newer camera makes the dash flash on the car.
