I bought my already built Beachside Bungalow at Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago using their coupon as well and I am finally working on painting it and am super excited about decorating it (I’m 53) and my 18 year old daughter thinks I’m crazy but that’s ok. I am excited about my project and what the outcome will be. I would love to see you continue to work on decorating yours. It really came out great, and after all your hard work, decorating your dollhouse is where the real fun begins. Get back into it girl!!!👍
Yes I still plan to furnish it, just have other projects to accomplish also! Stay tuned...
I had a very big Victorian mansion when I was 9 years old, it was an awesome house. I’m 44 now and I found the kit on EBay it is my plan to rebuild it. I lived that house I had til I was about 16 or 17 my dad threw it out because we had no room.

My inner child got really excited seeing this! You did such a great job. I LOVE the wallpaper and stonework detail. I have a soft spot for craftsman homes (I live in one) and this is totally a place I would live at full scale. Ha! Great design choices. Glad you’re having fun!
Building a dollhouse has always been something that caught my interest, but as a kid there were a lot of toys my family couldn't really afford. That's one huge benefit of being an adult! Craftsman style homes are super cool and I wouldn't mind a life-sized one either!

I just purchased the Victorian Alison Jr today! I will be building the bungalow for my mother in the next week or so her birthday is in June. She loves the beach and it will be a pleasant surprise. I love your channel! I just got into doll houses and I am hooked! I recently completed my first house which was the orchid from green leaf.. the quality of real good toys is out of this world… Comparatively. None of the pieces really broke and it was a solid build, but the quality of the real good toys is way much better! I can’t wait to binge your videos! I also own several sewing 🧵 machines and am an avid crafter! I can’t wait to discover all the goodies on your channel!

It's a miniature fantasy world where you can build and design whatever and however you want to. Total control of your creations. Don't worry I'm a 51 yr old male and have been building for quite some time but now after a long break I'm back to building again with interior decorating them too. I have 4 new builds within the next 2 weeks and one heavily custom. I also have the bungalow on my list soon. Keep up the building, I will be looking out for your future builds. Thanks.

I've been watching dollhouse videos and watching the prices online for a few years but am worried I won't be able to break away from sewing to make one! I am building a dollhouse too. I make dollhouses from kits, home built and then customize found cupboards. I am interested in the ikea dollhouse. I thought of buying two to go together. I really like the shell house from Harry Potter. Often I paint the shrubbery or I painted a thatched roof. But I probably built everything from kits as an adult though as a child I improvised. I guess I like fantasy, and my dollhouses to look like dollhouse. Still fascinated by accurate miniaturist work. I like the folded airplanes in the one bedroom. Perhaps you could work it into a theme where the child likes airplane models? Anyhow off to work on mine. Thanks for the inspiration!

The wallpaper and floors look so good! Great job on this project. Thanks for sharing. Also, how important is it to prime and sand before painting the house colors?
Thanks so much!!! I'm so behind on furnishing this house, but still plan to finish that. It made a huge difference to prime and sand, paint and sand, then add that final coat. I've done little craft projects before without sanding and the paint job turned out way better taking the time to do all that.

Have 70 hours into ours. Seafoam green instead of pink. Should die the shingles. Haven't started interior work. Just 70 hours painting a glueing. Working on the Vermont farm houseas we speak. Not as much fun as this kit was.

Not yet, I'm a little behind on that part but still plan on furnishing it!
